To each their own. I am mainly a PC gamer, and have experienced many games at 60fps and above. Overall, the character customization is a bit lacking, but I overlooked it seeing what the game is - a kickstarter backed independently developed title, not a AAA or even third-party retail release. I didn't see it necessary to be too critical since the overall impression of the game doesn't really suffer as a result.

I purchased this game, and it is really fun. My previous experience with Shadowrun is the SNES version, and I never played the tabletop version. That being said, this game reminds of a XBLA game - 2D backgrounds with 3D models, lots of dialouge with no voice acting, etc. I'm not saying this to downplay it, but just as a reference point to those interested.

I'll take performance over graphics - PC gamers have been doing this for years, sacrificing graphics for higher frames. In the case of consoles, KZ does look really good, but last I checked, it was running at 30fps. I would gladly take a hit to the graphics to boost that to 60fps.
You'd think after all these generations, the next-gen consoles would include advanced video options, to give players choices like this.

If stealth is a prevalent feature of the game, then perhaps the knife could work, but even then, it would need restrictions, like 1) only works from behind, and 2) only works if you are playing as a stealth class.
Every player in the game, regardless of class/load-out, should not be granted a one-hit kill weapon that uses no ammo, is guaranteed to kill as long as you land the attack, and makes virtually no noise.
I thought Columbia was infinitely more interesting than Rapture. Sure, the first Bioshock story-wise, was arguably the "best" (at least the ending) but rapture as a setting or a world, was pretty boring.
There's nothing epic about melee kills in shooters anyway. The mechanic is either gimmicky, or abused. The only time it tends to "work" is when the knife is either not a one hit kill weapon, or is restricted to a certain class. More developers should really start taking note of the phrase, "never bring a knife to a gun fight."
2 things I would like to address:
1 - the talk about how PS4 is "winning" or how PS3 "won." Was there a contest I wasn't aware of? What parameters are being met in order to be deemed the "winner?" Ex - If PS3 has more sales, but someone have more fun playing on 360, is PS3 still the "winner?" What if the PS3 has stronger hardware, but games are easier to develop on 360? what if the exact opposite occurs? Is this like a trick equatio...
I haven't heard a single thing about "fanboys" claiming Halo 5 will "save" X1 (didn't know it was in need of saving...)
I have however, heard anticipation of the next Halo game, and talks about the amount of potential MS's flagship title can have utilizing the tech of the new system...but I guess that's the same thing...
Sony's main reason for acquiring Gaikai, was for streaming, whereas MS's intentions with Azure are much more in-depth and I guess "meaningful?" for lack of better word. Why do they hate? Because they see any sort of progress or positive change to the xbox, as a direct threat or attack against PS4. They see what they want to see, which is usually not accurate to what's actually going on. It's like all the pro-gun nuts going on about how the liberals want to take away all their guns, when all that was actually being discussed was reform.

But unlike the HD-DVD/Blu-ray debacle, Azure has already proven itself. Developers seem to love working with it, and it has been very profitable, with revenue topping $1 billion.
What if closer to launch, MS held a special press conference where they introduced new, official specs for the X1....and they were double that of the PS4.
I would love to see what PS fans would say. Maybe some of them would take after MS, and pull 180's... all the talk about how the PS4 is so much more powerful and their games are going to look better, might turn into,"whatever - graphics aren't everything..."

movies aren't games.... play a PC game and run a program like fraps which allows you to see your framerate. Watch the framerate change between gameplay and cinematic. Gameplay will be at whatever your card can handle (unless v-sync is enabled) whereas cinematics drop down to 24-30fps. Why is this? The truth is, we think of 24fps as looking better for movies, because we've been trained to.
