X1 controllers will have PC support, just not at launch:
"...Kotaku say that a Microsoft spokesperson told them that there is still some work to be done. Essentially they say that in order to create a seamless experience for the user, they need to spend a bit more time tinkering to allow the Xbox One controller to work for supported PC or Mac games. Expect to be able to use them in 2014 is the message to take from it."

As evident from the overwhelming attitude in the comments, One thing subscription-based games are good at is weeding out the non-dedicated playerbase. It helps to build a more tightly knit, like-minded community, but also works to alienate many others. It's sort of a double-edged sword, but I see it more as a positive than a negative.
@PSVita
And despite all those "shortcomings" and the higher initial price, I still see the xbox offering me more enjoyment than a PS4 ever could, and many others think this way as well. I think the mindset for many is that they would rather pay more for something they actually want, than less for something they don't. If you and others see the X1 as an inferior product, so be it, we're still buying it.
Some people simply have no interest in ...
Well, Titanfall did pick up over 60 E3 awards, including Best of Show, Best Original Game, and Best Online Multiplayer. It won every category it was nominated for, breaking the record for the most amount of wins in the GCA's 16-year history for a total of 6.
See, a game doesn't need to push the boundaries of technology or even be innovative to be fun. I don't think the masses are interested in the game for it's ground-breaking innovation. They're intereste...
I'm fairly certain it was mentioned that you'll be able to do something similar to this with your XBL avatars as well, however, the stylized effects used in Kinect Rivals, may not be present.
I don't mind the Windows 8 UI, except when it's on Windows 8, because it's actually practical on other devices.
Something I don't like from the screens, is that they kept the location of notifications at the bottom center of the screen. I was hoping the notifications would be much more low profile and dedicated to one of the corners of the screen.
I don't really see xbox fans blowing anything out of proportion. The comments seem to recognize the games they see as good, and even point out which ones don't look good.
Some of the comments actually receive more dislikes than likes, suggesting that the "PS4 army" has already dispatched its Chaplains to silence all the non-believers for their blasphemous heresy concerning anything xbox related, and not excepting PS4 as the one, true god.
The best "mouse" I've ever used, and my current one.

"Ok but our society is arguably not part of the natural world. Its made by human-kind so you've got a slight contradiction there."
- There's no contradiction, just poor choice of words. I added "societal" in an edit, perhaps I shouldn't have.

"... There'd be no reason to advance any further than what we had already accomplished because here's something we all have: Greed."
- Greed is ...
You're looking at competition from a market/corporate standpoint. I look at at from a real-world/societal standpoint. Since corporations or even consumerism/capitalism is not part of the natural world, I care little for what price Sony would charge, since it's irrelevant to the big picture.
The thing to think about is what if all these competing companies were to work together to come with a product? Progress wouldn't be stifled by patents and recycled ideas by al...
No, it isn't.. the term "healthy competition" is an oxymoron.

So the justification you are using for the actions of these people is "karma" (which is nothing more than a religious/spiritual concept) for the events that took place circa 5 yrs. ago, essentially, you are standing by the claim that "two wrongs make a right." Bravo...

The reversals were not evidence of them not being afraid to just change something. The changes came in response of the community, which directly affected their numbers and reputation. It's not the result of some "willy nilly" change that took place just because...
For many people, paying more for something they actually want, in this case the xbox, means more to them than simply settling for the cheaper alternative.
Both Ryse and KZ look like they will be visually stunning, but until we actually get to play them, that's all they are right now - pretty games.
Perhaps some of you can point out the relevance of people here linking to other games, or even future projects with no actual content, in an attempt to discredit the relevance of the article? I'm pretty sure the article is not claiming that this is the most graphically technical game ever created in the history of mankind, ye...
At the very least, KZ will get a high(er) rating, just to spite xbox... same with Ryse getting a low(er) rating.
I'm more stuck on the part where being a virgin or not amounts to anything...
There's no "winning" or "losing" team. These terms only hold merit if you're approaching them from a business standpoint, where things like sales numbers and profits actually amount to something. Console fans like to wage this artificial "war" as if it actually amounts to anything. They use stats like the ones I listed, as some sort of reference point or "proof" that their console is winning, as if the average consumer actually cares about those...

"PS4 uses a 7850 midle range GPU Radeon."
No, it doesn't...
The PS4 uses a custom built, integrated, AMD GPU based off the Radeon architecture. PC and other tech sites use cards like the 7850 as a reference point for testing and discussion, because based off specs, its pretty close.
There actually isn't an existing equivalent on the market, due to the card being custom built for PS4. In addition, the w...
It's a pretty baseless claim if all that power isn't utilized. I'm not saying it won't be, but anyone thinks that the PS4 is going to blow away the X1 in terms of graphic fidelity in games, you sure have a lot of wishful thinking. Overall, games will look largely similar, with significant (if any) differences being evident in exclusive titles.
Besides, boasting that you are the "world's most powerful console," is sort of liking being proud to be ...
