Realistic shooting might be "badass" to you, but it goes against a defining feature of Battlefront. One of the things that made Battlefront so fun, was that it played like a game, not like a shooting sim, or even a realistic combat FPS. I'd much rather play something along the lines of Quake 3 or RTCW, than BF3 or CS.
As far as getting "free" games goes, I have gamefly, so I don't really care... The chances of either service offering me a game that I would actually consider purchasing, are slim to none, since games I want to buy, I already bought, meaning games I didn't buy are games I don't want to.
90% of all the games I've played, are rented from gamefly. After that, it would just becomes a pointless matter of me bragging about getting a free game, just for the...
You're out of your mind if you think that , Larry.
The gameplay in Battlefront and BF2 are completely different. From the overall pace of the game, to the weapon and shooting mechanics, there are vast differences.
It would be cool to have a story mode, and seeing the Star Wars universe brought to life with cinematic cut scenes.
From the screens it's very bare bones looking - nothing that makes it pop. I like simplistic design, but I like simplistic design that looks well done - this GUI has a very amateur feel to it - almost like the groundwork's been layed but not fully polished. I'm sure it will go through changes, both in features and layout, but this initial design does not impress. A proper demo vid would do more justice.
If $100 is "dealbreaker" material, perhaps you shouldn't be buying a console in the first place? I mean the "cheap" console is $400. I really don't see how $400 = "that's not too bad," but $500 = "hey, I'm not made out of money!"
What if PS4 was $500 but Xbox was $400, would you guys arguing over the price opt for the xbox, because I'd wager many of you would still buy the PS4, making the "$100 argument," m...

First off, unless you are a lawyer or some type of expert in the realm of consumer rights, or at least can source what exactly those rights are, from an actual legal standpoint, not paraphrased by some gaming forum user, I would suggest not going down the consumer rights path. And be careful - consumer rights with video games/software can differ from consumer rights with other products. I would also suggest you fully understand what MS's initial goal actually...
On the topic of which console has better graphics, I can't help but smell the irony in here, at least from a personal standpoint. Whenever a "PC vs console" debate erupts, and the case of graphics comes up, I always heard the console proponents give 1 of 2 responses. 1)PC's are more expensive, so they should have better graphics, or 2) PC players are graphics whores - the graphics are good enough on console.
The "graphics whore" response was a fre...
@Hicken
If you are saying you have to include the price of a monitor, then you have to include the price of your TV when buying a PS4 - it's only fair.
You don't need sound output, only an integrated card on the mobo, which virtually every mobo has now.
The cable you need will likely come with the hardware you get - either the GPU or the monitor, so you don't need to buy them separate.
Why even mention no software...
It is both funny and sad to view the comments and see virtually every comment that paints xbox or MS in a positive light receive at least double the amount of dislikes than likes, and almost the complete opposite for PS/Sony comments.
Kinda shows how bias overall this site is. And save me the, "more people just like PS4," rhetoric. There is a difference between merely liking one console over the other, and actively liking or disliking a post based on whether or not ...
Baldur's Gate 3 - end of debate.
I really hope DICE's "vision" of Battlefront, doesn't end up being Battlefield: Star Wars. I don't mind if they have destructible environments or whatnot, but one of the key aspects of the Battlefront games was the gunplay, and needless to say, they are nothing like Battlefield.
Where Battlefield takes a more "realistic" approach to gunplay, Battlefront was much more "arcadey," from the weapon mechanics to the the lack of ironsights,...
But where you see this as a detriment, others can see it differently, like perhaps commending then from trying to stray from the ordinary and try different things. I am saying this is my opinion, I am only using it as an example.
There is something I have noticed though - that if you take each company - MS and Sony, and compare their consoles to video games, Xbox would be more of a new IP in each iteration, whereas PS is more of a sequel. Xbox always seems to try new things, ...
It's all subjective. What one sees as positive or negative on either console, others might see differently. There seems to be this common fallacy on here that whatever one person thinks in terms of which console is "better" or which company is more trustworthy, then it is truth and not debatable...but only if chose ps4 and Sony. If chose xvox, then you obviously don't know what your talking about, and you're an idiot. The amount of bias in Sony's favor on this site i...
Your flaw is not realizing that pre-orders do not account for the majority of overall sales. That is how Xbox could potentially outsell ps4.
1. If they are already down 3 to 1 (source please) then winning 3 to 1 would be that much more of a win. Why is commendable that PS3 came from behind and eventually won, but when the thought of X1 doing essentially the same thing, it's all BS?
2. Using the basis that many of the "hardcore's" are not supporting MS, doesn't really amount to as much as you think, since most sales are not contributed by "hardcore" gamers.
3. Where ...
What happens if he's right, and X1 does wind up outselling PS4, perhaps not initially, but over the course of the generation? Perhaps it's my cynical/sadistic side coming through, but I would love for X1 to outsell PS4, just to see the reaction PS4 fans would have, and read their reasoning and justification.
The extra $100 seems to be a big argument PS fans bring up as to why it won't sell as much, and Colin makes a good point: (which I stated in a different post)...
Key words are "currently" and "right now." PS3 wasn't always outselling 360 - in fact, for a majority of the cycle, xbox was in the lead, and I'm not even counting the head start.
Second, the lead in sales likely has little to do with the "superior hardware" argument. The fact the PS3 has more powerful hardware and it has passed 360 in sales, are largely coincidental, since the majoirty of the playerbase is more concerned with games, serv...
Although releasing consoles with an RROD was a bad call on MS, they did handle it pretty well, from giving refunds and replacing consoles to adding a 3 year warranty. It wasn't like they said, "Oh, you got an RROD? tough shit, blow me..." They took responsibility for their mistake, and now the RROD is virtually non-existent.
Besides, PS3 has it's own version of the RROD, called the YLOD ("yellow line of doom" or "yellow light of death") a...
OMG, the irony...
Conspiracy theory? talk to the PS fans about the kinect if you want to hear a good one.
