This is one of the stupidest ways to deal with Medics. There have already been games that provide much better means to deal with it - it's called gibbing players. RTCW had it, and Splash Damage puts it in all their games. After you down a player, make it so they can keep receiving damage until he becomes "dead" and can't be revived. The location of the thumbsticks on the PS controller, is a reason why I will never own a Playstation. It may sound petty, but no more petty than people not playing PC games due to the need to use m/kb.
In all fairness, NOTHING they do will change the minds of many people. In addition, they have been explaining what the "X1" (so much better than "Xbone") can not only do, but what capabilities it has over the competition.

The difference is that MS published GoW, so it made more sense why it was exclusive to xbox. MS isn't involved with the development of Titanfall - Respawn are the devs and EA are the publisher, this is why many insist it will not stay exclusive. The only consumers that MS (or their actions) are really going to an effect on, are the dedicated players that actually follow trends and gaming news, which isn't the majority.

My solution to the "irrelevant knife" problem would have been to just get rid of the knife, rather than make it more prevalent.
