Those same sites gave Halo 3 very inflated scores, despite the weak graphics, weak story, and rehashed gameplay. So, what's your point? Halo fanboy sites gave a Halo game a great score? Whoop-dee-doo.
Says who? Reviewers have been saying the same things:
- Same ol' graphics
- short campaign
- a bunch of content we've already seen in Halo 3's DLC
That doesn't look like a full game. It looks like an expansion that was milked.
Why shouldn't gamers call it an expansion when Bungie themselves called it an expansion? It wasn't until Microsoft began some behind-closed-doors talks when this "expansion that will not be the same cost as a full-priced game" (according to Bungie) became a "full game with a lot of content that justifies the full price" (according to Microsoft's PR and then Bungie a few months later).

Gee, I've heard this for some PS3 exclusives, but those games would have been LUCKY to get an 83/100.
I guess the "Halo" name grants an automatic +10% points to any review score.

Kidding. Kidding. It's cool to see gaming tech being used for stuff like this. It's just another thing to show that game technology isn't just for little kids and pimply-faced nerds.
AAA confirmed. Not owning a PS3 means you're missing out on the majority of this years' highest-rated games (Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, inFamous, and Ratchet&Clank and GT5 will probably score pretty high, too)
It's hard not to believe the "puerile college frat boy" stereotype for the typical Xbox Live user when Microsoft themselves act that way.
It's gonna be interesting if this is true, because it will come out BEFORE Natal, and from what we've seen, Sony's motion controls are more advanced and accurate than Natal (motion controller + camera versus just a camera).
So, is the Western press going to poop on Sony's motion controls and then worship an inferior technology when Natal comes out? $25 says "Yes".
I don't understand why Halo fanboys are hiding behind the "decent" and "good enough" review scores, since Uncharted 2 is blowing ODST out of the water in that regard.
And even so, we ALL know that the review scores for the Halo series have been vastly inflated this generation. I don't see how the scores of ODST aren't also suspect of being inflated.
I think Agent will be incredible. When GTA4 came out, it was pretty clear that DVD9 held the game back. I mean, San Andreas (a PS2/Xbox game) had twice the amount of content that GTA4 did.

The only difference is that websites like Edge and 1up pay you to write flamebait. If you want to stick to opinion, the best you can manage is a no-name blog.
I feel bad for people who get the YLoD, but I laugh at their efforts to try to make it out to be as bad as the RRoD or the other various 360 hardware issues.

Any price cut is better than none. The adapter has been the same price since the 360's launch with no price drop. Now THAT's robbery.
It really wasn't that great of a game to begin with, unfortunately. I felt as if I was watching a Disney sci-fi movie aimed at 6-year-olds.
So, no big deal. Plenty of other great JRPGs on both the 360 and PS3 that people should be playing instead of this one.
Half of those are multiplatform games...
So....yeah.
