"An unbiased comparison"
Easiest way to spot a biased article.
Doesn't matter. They'll mail you a virtual shipping label, ask you to provide your own box, and send you a new pet in 4 to 6 weeks if you send the dead body of your old pet in.
But buying stuff for your virtual "HOME" is worthless I thought...
@ Foxgod
Your level of delusion is hilarious. I use a Mac, a Windows Vista PC, and a Linux PC, and the least-reliable, least-accessible, and least-compatible out of those three is the Vista PC.
Oh, and OpenOffice is just as good as MS Office (not to mention it's more reliable and more easily customized and upgraded).
You want a reason why "not everyone is using it"?

"But Windows 7 is SOOOO much better than Vista"
"OMG you haters! Windows 7 is nothing like Vista! Quit being a fanboy!"
"Windows 7 is amazing. Don't believe the liars and haters. It's great!"
"Windows 7 is worth it. Dump Vista and get Windows 7!"
All these excuses keep ringing in my head, even though all along I knew better and knew that Windows 7 would be unreliable.
It's Metal Gear, so I'll certainly play it.
However, I'm far more excited for Peace Walker, since it's the brainchild of Kojima and it's being made by the MGS4 team. Rising is made by Kojima's B-team of MGS Ac!d fame (yuck).
I feel the 6.5/10 score is very very harsh. I've been playing this on my PSP and it feels like 90% of the PS3 game with some added tricks and gizmos.
I'd rate it a 9/10, and I'd rate the PS3 version a 10/10 (like I said, LBP PSP is 90% of the PS3 game).
Can't say I'm surprised to see the media do this. They don't have any 360 exclusives to tout over the upcoming PS3 exclusives, so they have to drag down PS3 exclusives any way they can (in this case, using multiplats). They're also comparing GoW3 to Bayonetta.
They did the same thing with inFamous ("Can inFamous compete with Prototype?"), Killzone 2 ("is it finally the Halo killer?"), MGS4 ("what's it like compared to Gears?"), Uncharted 1 ("wha...
If a sequel is good, it's good. There are plenty of sequels this gen that are awesome games well-worth your $$$ (Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed 2, etc), and there are sequels certainly NOT worth your money.
I think the problem is that some sequels aren't worth the money, but since the gaming press does such a bad job at accurately representing games (since advertising money is more important than the truth), it's hard to see what sequels are worth it.
Sony DESERVES to succeed this gen. They're the only company pushing the boundaries of games forward for the sake of GAMERS. They keep coming out with new games that push storyline, graphics, physics, number of players online, concept, etc., despite all the hate and bad press they receive.
Nintendo is only concerned with the casuals. Microsoft is only concerned with getting as much publicity with as little effort as possible, especially since they can sit back and bask in the unre...
Yeah, I was just gonna say...
Zelda ISN'T mainstream?
Phantom Hourglass was cool (albeit quite easy and brief), but I'd hate to see the Zelda series going MORE mainstream.
"Here's the boomerang. Now, trace along the dotted line to kill Ganon. Oh, your hearts are running out? Draw a heart on the screen at any time to refill your health!"
Yeah! I can't wait for the reviewers to herald this as "the next God of War" because it's a multiplatform game when obviously better 3rd-person action games are already out on the market!
/sarcasm
Actually, this game looks average.
Oh, what will Cnet say? (I'm not even giving them a click)
I'd say PS3. It had the best year BY FAR in '09, it is looking to have the best year in '10, and this will probably continue on for the years to follow.
I mean, the "other console" gamers are STILL talking about Smash Bros, Halo, Gears, and Mario Galaxy. PS3 gamers are the only console owners consistently talking about NEW games and EXCLUSIVE games.
If this is true, AWESOME! It just goes to show that Sony will pursue the best technology, even if it means leaving some of their old technology behind.
It's sad that 360 owners HAVE to argue about multiplatform games looking better on their platform.
We all know that when it comes to exclusives, 360 exclusives (do they still exist?) can't hold a candle to PS3 exclusives.
So, I guess we'll just argue about multiplatform games and sales...
Ahahahahah!
The PS3 launch in 2006: 360 owners are saying "We didn't buy our console for Blu Ray or for browsing the internet! Baaahahaa! We bought our consoles for GAMES! ALL THESE EXCLUSIVE GAMES!"
Fast forward to Holiday 2009: 360 owners are saying "Facebook and Twitter and cross-game chat and Netflix (oops! On the PS3, too, now)are essential to the 360's survival. Microsoft will destroy the PS3 if they have these features!"
That looks stinkin' sweet. I love the Metal Slug games and I've beaten all of them except for MS7 on the DS.
No Solid Snake? No Crash Bandicoot? No Laura Croft?
Joke article...
