Yeah. When Microsoft pulled the CPU out of Natal/Kinect, they made it sound like it would not be a big deal. But developers know differently. They know that Kinect will have a major impact on the available resources of the game system.

Don't take my word for it. Just look at the Kinect games and the Kinect tech demos. They're all painfully simple.

A real Konami retail store? Me want!

6 feet actually means 7-10 feet. If you are moving back and forth you will need the extra room. Also, it's not like you're going to stand right up against your furniture. You'll want that extra room. So, six feet is the absolute minimum.

$150 dollars. Two-player only. A lot less precise than Natal showed. A lot of lag. And nothing but shovelware being tech-demoed.

Yep. Gamers should rush out and get this! "Oh, shut up GWAVE. Kinect isn't...

Wow. Another Gamesthirst article like this? I'm surprised /s

You notice how after the initial month, everyone stopped talking about Prototype, yet people are still excited about inFamous and inFamous 2.

But these are the core/hardcore Move games people want. Where's Kinect's answer? Shadow Puppets Extreeeeeme from Konami as a timed exclusive?

People need to play games like the Painkiller series, Resistance 2, or System Shock 2. Just because these console FPS addicts can't play anything non-Halo or non-CoD doesn't mean that other FPSs are lacking in boss battles.

Someone hasn't played MGS4. Raiden was a pivotal character in that game and many gamers changed their minds about him.

I don't get negatives against Plus.

When it really boils down, PSN+ is a discount subscription service. You get free games and you get discounted games. Complaining about PSN+ like getting a discount card at Barnes&Nobles and then complaining that it doesn't also offer free McDonald's sundaes.

Quite the hyperbole.

But it goes to show that every gamer should try Uncharted 2, since everyone sees fit to compare their game to it.

For developer commentary, look no further than MGS4 (if that's your thing). They have dozens of podcasts, including nearly 20 podcasts that are marked to be played at specific points of the game.

How? With only two pairs of arms flinging around and a minimum of six feet between the camera and the players, there will be plenty of room, assuming you have the room...and the willing players.

Personally, I PREFER Windwaker, Majora's Mask, Link to the Past, and the handheld Zeldas (Phantom Hourglass, Minish Cap).

But with that said, I'm still stoked to play OoT remade on the 3DS. Most every Zelda game is amazing.

IMO, return it to the storyline-based games of the SEGA Genesis era. Those games were easily on par - if not better - than the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games of that time.

It just goes to show all you people after E3 who said "wait for Gamescom! You'll see!" are silly.

At this point I just feel bad for Kinect and bad for 360 gamers.

Kinect is only two-player, it's still laggy, $150 price point, not a single confirmed "hardcore" game like they promised with Natal, it relies on specific lighting conditions and body positions, and you have to be six feet away from it. Why not just tie an anchor around someone's neck for good measure, too?

5670d ago 24 agree8 disagreeView comment

No, dummy. They killed it because Microsoft has the strictest network (Xbox Live) in the industry. It's also why they haven't allowed one of their key partners, Valve, to distribute content on the 360 via Steam.

Or what about Terranigma?

I guess nobody played it, but Terranigma was on par - if not better - than SoM, Chrono Trigger, FF3, etc.

Do people really want to spend $150 on a peripheral that supports - at maxiumum - two active players? At least Move gives you the option of buying more than two controllers. What's microsoft gonna do? Require you to buy another Kinect camera?

It's sad how the media has such a double standard.

They gave Guerilla Games such a hard time about Killzone 2 saying "The first Killzone sucked! They won't make KZ2 any better".

Yet, they don't give the Heavenly Sword team (a game the media bashed and bashed) any grief.

EDIT: Wow, 3 disagrees in less than 60 seconds? Yeah...this place is really swamped with PS3 fanboys /s. Anyone care to prove what I said wrong? No? Tha...

@ Aquanox

The sad thing is, a lot of 360 fanboys have the same mentality as you. "Oh, we have never once enjoyed casual Wii games, but now that it's on the 360, it will be amazing!" You honestly will buy a game because some fanboys gave it "Best of Show"? Yeah, that sounds like a great way to game.

But wait. I thought awards didn't matter. If they did, you'd be playing MGS4, Uncharted 2, LBP, and the dozen other award-winning g...
