Do we honestly need so many Kinect articles saying the same thing over and over again? I don't have the time to troll each and every one!
To me, a minorly flawed game can get a 10/10, but a 10/10 should be an objective mark of quality. For instance, Demon's Souls is a fantastic game, but I would not give it a 10/10. Why? The graphics aren't 10/10, nor is the story.
10/10 scores these days are very opinionated, resulting in inflated scores. C'mon...Halo 3 got a 10/10? GTA4 got a 10/10? Those games both had major, major flaws from an objective standpoint. And it's really hard to trust reviewers wh...
They are both bland to me because I do not enjoy realistic driving games. But to say that a game is bland as if it will be bland for everyone...that's dumb.

The story is...okay, but everything else about the game is slightly above average. Nothing more. Nothing less. Though I can understand why people get crazy about it...being stuck in the dark, unaware of all the awesome PC RPGs of that time can make you think crazy things.
PC Gaming isn't dead, it's never been "close" to dead.
You think Wii has captured the casual market? PC has 4 times as many people playing Farmville and random casual Popcap puzzle games.
Kinect is clearly aimed at casuals. Even 360 gamers and Xbox execs agree that the focus of Kinect is on grandmas.
Move is clearly aimed at the hardcore and kinda the casuals.

Okay, journalists and "journalists", here's some advice:
Subscribe to PS+. Don't subscribe. Who cares? If it doesn't offer you benefit, then so be it. But PSN is still free to play online, unlike LIVE. Comparing PS+ and LIVE makes no sense. It's like how fanboys tried to compare Resistance 2 and Gears 2 during the holiday season in 2008.

99/100 times, these people are real cheaters and they're just saying whatever they can to avoid being banned. Think about it: they've probably sunk 1,000s of hours into their character rank. If they're willing to cheat the system in order to unfairly advance, do you think they're going to suddenly be honest and say "yeah, I cheated. Go ahead and take away my months of game time".
For shooters, yeah, Xbox LIVE is more competitive because (DUH) a larger percentage of the fanbase plays shooters. This article just comes off as yet another "I pay $50 a year for something other platforms get for free, so let's justify it!" rant.
The title should have been "Why the Pros play PC" if the author wanted to use that logic.

Controller-free gaming is a gimmick. It's sounds about as fun as penetration-free sex.
It's a good article. Master Chief has no personality or interesting qualities whatsoever, but it is fun to play as him in the games, so as long as you can just be a cool soldier, it shouldn't make a difference.
I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition yesterday at Gamestop. It's definitely worth the extra $20 to me.

Oh boy. The dev for Child of Eden isn't sure about Move, so obviously the media is going to hype of CoE like there's no tomorrow. Er, I guess they're already doing that, aren't they? I mean, did any media outlet or gamer care about this guy's opinion until they showed some videos of Child of Eden? Bueller?
