How can people honestly fall in love with this so-called "campy, likable" storyline (I played this game for two days/5 hours and walked away...) and in the same breath claim that the MGS series storyline is bad?
This video is fantastic. Okay, I can understand if someone doesn't like motion controls at all. That's one thing. But if you honestly look at ACTUAL FOOTAGE AND DEMONSTRATIONS of Move and Kinect, I cannot - for the life of me - understand how hardcore gamers these days are siding with Kinect.

Yes, I know I am pro-PS3 and people label me as a blind Sony fantard or whatever is being thrown around these says, but this article is just...dumb. Ideally, every [insert Console A] fan should own [insert any non-Console A system], but that's not how the world turns.
It's only a matter of time before Balmer goes. Every single OTHER Xbox-brand founder has left the company for greener pastures (that should tell you something). Balmer is just hanging on because I think he likes to be in charge.
I hope Move is successful and Kinect is not.
It has nothing to do with what system it's on. It has to do with its focus. Kinect wants to be as simplistic, inaccurate, and "casual" as possible for the sake of making big bucks for M$. Controller-free gaming is a gimmick and it sounds about as entertaining as penetration-free sex. Move is trying to improve motion controls for the hardcore audience, for which we (hardcore gamers) should be cheering it on.

Super Mario Galaxy has more than four basic control inputs.
So, it wouldn't even work on Kinect.
Video game music is definitely underrated. Let's be honest: would certain scenes of FF7, any MGS game, Shadow of the Colossus, any Zelda game, etc. be as epic without the epic music to go along with it?
On a side note, that's part of why I love DJ Hero (can't wait for DJ Hero 2). The mixed are all original. I love playing the game just to hear the music.
If gamers are being honest, GotY will probably belong to a PS3 title. Or, a random multiplat game as to not cause fanboy wars.
God of War III. GT5. LBP2. Three ultra-landmark games whose previous games have all won mutliple GotY awards.
Of the two new X-COMs coming out, THIS will be the one I am looking forward to.

Blur was NOT amazing. It has some decent concepts, some decent graphics, and some fun game modes. Nothing more, nothing less.

360's best action/adventure? NO WAY.
What about Mass Effect 2 (barely an RPG anymore) or Ninja Gaiden 2?
I've sunk about 650+ between Monster Hunter Freedom 2 and Freedom Unite.
However, by merit of the main storyline, Dragon Quest 7 is probably the longest game I've played. To complete the main quest with minimal sidequesting, you still have to sink 80-100 hours into it.

Yeah, we can all take our sides and say who we think is in decline and who is hitting their stride, but at the end of the day, nobody is leaving the market this week or anything.
It's not worth it to me. It's not being aimed at me (a gamer). Even journalists and 360 supporters will admit this fact.
The first Force Unleashed was actually quite lame. It was incredibly bland and it underdelivered on so many of the developers' promises.
