First things first, Nintendo didn't "create a new casual gaming market" with the Wii and DS. Anyone who believes this is ignorant and misguided. The Game Boy, PS1, PS2, and even the original NES and Atari 2600 are proof of this. You don't have a 100+ million selling console (the PS1) or a 140+ million console (PS2) made purely out of hardcore gamers.
Second of all, Sony and Microsoft are both doing fine. Please, kids, use your brains and look beyond the usual "Sony...
I don't care what anyone says in the defense of RE5: games such as FEAR, Condemned, and Dead Space have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that you can update a control scheme and still have a scary game.
Defending the last-gen controls of RE5 is fruitless. Plenty of people complain about _____, the highly-anticipated FPS because the controls aren't like CoD4's controls. Plenty of people complain about _____, the highly-anticipated 3rd-person action game because the controls ar...
Does it even matter anymore? Microsoft is struggling to get the failure rate below the 10% and that's even with the "newer, cooler" chipsets. It's a crying shame that gamers willingly put up with this.
And this is yet another example of how the higher-selling product is not necessarily the better one. Rock Band 2 completely demolishes GHWT. Heck, I'd take the first Rock Band instead of GHWT.
Did anyone stop to think? You can't even kill babies in GTA4. It makes more sense to blame abortion clinics for this unfortunate event (and before anyone gets the wrong idea, blaming abortion clinics would be asinine, which is exactly my point).
*sigh* How can Sony get back in the game? They already ARE in the game. Geez. If anything, we should be asking ourselves "how can Microsoft stay in the game?" with all of their closures of 1st-party devs and all their 2nd-party devs jumping ship.

Well, I have to give the edge to Fallout 3 when it comes to combat. The VATS system is incredible. However, when it comes to the amount of content and the flexibility and customization of a game, Oblivion is vastly superior.
Well, you're making an unfounded assumption by saying that there are more PS3 fans in this particular thread, but I'll still bite...
Perhaps it's because this article is claiming that us PS3 owners should care about these games when -- in reality -- we care very little.
Fallout 3 was awesome but did anyone else feel that it was a bit lacking in content? Compared to Oblivion or Morrowind, Fallout 3 was so short and had barely any quests.
I'm saddened by Bethesda playing favorites with their DLC and updates but it will only come back to bite them in the end.
Let's see how many posters will comment on this news thinking that it's current.
And this is news....how? I mean, I'm sure this bundle would be an awesome thing for big-time RE fans and 360 fans (especially if the console itself is a limited edition RE-themed unit), but CAPCOM neither confirmed nor denied it. Why is it being posted?
Well, if you look at the parts, the PS3's components were custom-built to compliment one another, but that made it very difficult to program for at first. The 360 is built by powerful "off the shelf" components that don't have as much upward potential but are easier to program for.
In the end, it's the games that speak for themselves, and I must say that the "power of the Cell" is showing a lot more power in 2009 than the 360's hardware is.
Let's break this list down:
Halo:OSDT - Sorry, but no. If a gamer wants Halo, they'll buy a 360. It's ignorant to assume that EVERYONE enjoys Halo, let alone a $30 spin-off
Ninja Blade - Really? REALLY? With God of War 3 coming out, PS3 owners are supposed to want THIS third-rate Ninja Gaiden clone?
Splinter Cell Conviction - where is this game? What information do we have on it? Is it even coming in 2009?
Mass Effect 2 - Again, is this even...
Microsoft never learns their lesson. Oh well. It'll be funny to see them plummet to their unfortunate doom. Hopefully they'll get wise and try to learn from their mistakes instead of pretending that they never made a mistake in the first place.
Although I enjoy the PS3 and I think it's the best console this generation, it can't really compete with the Wii. The Wii's core design philosophy is inherently different than the PS3's. I don't mean that in a good way or bad way, but that's just how it is. There won't be a single game on the PS3 that knocks the Wii off its throne. Heck, the 360 tried to dabble in the so-called "casual market" and failed miserably.
There's one main reason why the Eye camera won't toppl...
Microsoft helped slow Sony's momentum in 2008, but you have to keep in mind that it wasn't due to a massive release of high-quality exclusives, but rather TWO price drops in one year. Before the second price drop in 2008, the PS3 was actually outselling the 360 in worldwide sales.
I just don't see how Microsoft can slow down Sony's momentum -- let alone beat them -- with so few 1st-party developers under their wing.
Huh. It looks fantastic. Can't wait to try it out. Yet another PS3 game to watch.
@ Elven6
200 people at Rare? That's nothing compared to the 1000+ developers employed between Sony's 20+ development studios, not to mention the fact that...well, not to be crude, but Rare kinda sucks a sh*t popsicle these days.
360 Man, I'd give your comment a fair response if I didn't already know that you were a raging Microsoft fanboy. Try Ubuntu. Just try it. And guess what? It's completely free.
Wow. With 360 fanboys so obsessed with sales numbers, attach rates, and adoption curves, these cold, hard numbers are hard to ignore...
