Halo's multiplayer is actually quite fun with a bit of tweaking (I turn overshields off). However, it's hard for a lot of people to see that because the Halo multiplayer community -- for the most part -- is rubbish.
I'm disappointed at the lack of PC shooters on this list. Oh well. You can't expect EVERYone to love PCs. :(
Windows 7 will only help decide the outcome of the browser wars if Windows 7 ends up mattering. I don't care how many features (read: rip-offs) Microsoft adds to Windows 7. If it isn't adopted by the majority of PC users, it isn't going to affect anything.
Personally, I love free and/or open-source programs. Google and Linux and Mozilla are changing the face of personal computers whether Microsoft likes it or not.
I find it odd how Rumor Killers repeatedly and consistently reports pro-PS3 rumors (such as Fallout 3 DLC, Left 4 Dead Port, Mass Effect 2 on PS3, or in this case Gears 2) as "Highly unlikely" or "Rumor killed" whereas pro-360 rumors are embellished with all sorts of reasons and explanations for why it is "highly likely". Need I remind anyone that the exact same reasons for Gears 3 being on 360 only (Microsoft wouldn't let this one go, Gears is an important franc...
Their reasons for the 8.75 are a bit out of place. I'm not complaining about the score, since anything above an 8/10 is great, IMO. It's just that their reasoning doesn't match up.

It seems that "hype" is perfectly okay for the likes of Gears 2 or Halo 3 but now that we've come to Killzone 2...oh boy! Stop the hype! It might ruin the game!

It's a very simple aspect of sociology. Most people are plagued by a nagging need to "fit in". The bigger the group, the more important people feel. Any "enemy" groups -- by nature -- undermine the importance of your own group. Therefore, they must die.

I only want Left 4 Dead on the PS3 if they add a ton of new content and improve the graphics to match the multiplayer games currently on the PS3. As it stands, I played it, I enjoyed it, but I'm done with it. The severe lack of content (not to mention the fact that you can't even play all of the campaigns in Versus mode) is to blame for that.
Just one more lawsuit in the vast, vast library of lawsuits leveled against Microsoft. Hopefully Microsoft will be taken to task. Better yet, I hope they continue to lose market share. As a consumer, I don't want ANYone to have a monopoly, least of them Microsoft.
It's not an issue of the 360 being to blame or the PS3 being innocent. The author of this article seems to forget that sales slump after the holidays. Period. That's just the way of things. Blaming the 360 (or any other console) for slumping sales would be the same as praising the 360 (or any other console) for boosted sales in November and December when...oh, there's this little holiday called "Christmas" going on.

Funny how now that PS3 is getting all the exclusives and many formerly-360-exclusive games are going multiplatform, journalists are screaming the tagline, "It's multiplatform? That's GREAT! Everybody wins!" when just a few months back news of Tekken 6 or Final Fantasy 13 going multiplatform brought sneers of "Hah hah! The PS3 is doooomed! It's losing all of its exclusives!"
