Yeah, the PS3 definitely has some great shooters, but Crysis is pretty sweet in its own right. Lots of people overlooked it because their PCs couldn't run it. A console version would hopefully dispel the offhand remarks that Crysis is "nothing but nice graphics", because it's so much more.
You're right, Wile. I should give it a rest. I shouldn't expect quality content from my $60 purchase. I should simply bend over, smile, and take whatever they give me.
What Valve confirms, Microsoft denies.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers EPIC's "confirmed" free maps, right?
I wish they would include some new campaigns instead of adding one mode and then adding two campaigns to Versus that should have been included since the start.
I just hope EPIC gets someone else to do the net code. Not only that, but I hope they buff up the Unreal Engine to display more than small rooms or on-rails sections. Anyone who plays MMOs knows that the Unreal Engine hasn't really proven itself capable of MMO-sized game worlds.
English. Try it sometime.
Gamestop promotes whatever game it wants. Period. Believe me, I know. I used to work for them in a management position. It has less to do with what sells and more to do with what upper management wants. Our store was a "pro-Sony" store where we sold a lot of Sony products, yet we were still urged to push 360s, 360 games, and 360 accessories.
And whether a game gets a midnight release or not has little to do with overall preorders. An individual store or even an entire ...
Goodnight, sweet prince.
The question in everyone's mind isn't "Will DW7 be better than DW6?"
The question is "Will it be good?"
It's a solid argument. It's even more solid as the years pass on. Imagine the number of games (either PSN downloads or Blu Ray games) you could buy after four years....$200 worth. That's a LOT!
It's a game made by a multiplatform company that has already supported the PS3 with a timed exclusive (UT3). I'm not saying it WILL come to the PS3, but it's perfectly logical to assume that it might at some point in time.
If the 360 was a normal consumer product, I'd say yes.
However, Microsoft has most of the 360 fanbase believing that using Netflix is just as good (if not better) than Blu Ray and that Blu Ray is just a fad.
That looks pretty sweet. Definitely would be fun to play some Soul Calibur IV or the upcoming Street Fighter IV on that thing.

You know what else is funny? It's funny how pro-MS users such as you guys have run out of excuses and responses. The best you can come up with is "Y'all Sony fanboys be a bunch of CRYBABIES!"
Namecalling? Really? If you think our complaints are invalid, prove us wrong. Otherwise, calling Sony fans "crybabies" and "rabid" without proving them wrong only makes you look desperate and pathetic. See? I can namecall too....
Kinda sound like MS fanboys who claimed Live never lags, the RRoD doesn't exist, and that there weren't any glitches in Gears 2 and Fable 2. Actually, it sounds like ANY fanboy's reasoning, i.e. irrational reasoning.
I agree. Why kill the PS2 when it's doing so well (even after 9 years)? I don't see any reason.
An article by Variety? I'll pass. How this got approved is beyond me. It's as if...
Wait a second...

Oh wait. This is N4G. Got it.
I see wut you did tharrrr.
Heh. Kinda funny. I especially liked:
"We suggest locking yourself in a room full of red ringing Xbox 360s. At least 100 broken consoles are required for this method. You should be able to find that many within a mile of your home."
Although gamers having to suffer those errors (as well as other hardware failures) isn't cool.
I don't see why it would help them. It didn't make the PS3 sales skyrocket when it DID have b/c, so why would implementing it again suddenly alter sales?
This article smells heavily of complaining fanboys. Fanboy complaints do not equal the general public's complaints.
I haven't seen any lag, but I hope this works for people experiencing any lag.
