I now GoW is fairly recent...but saying that the game made waves is even an understatement...

This man took down a God, took his throne and then embarked on yet ANOTHER epic quest...sorry Link, but Kratos > you. For the record though, I wouldn't put either at the number 1 spot, but I still think Kratos is better than Link.

Interesting read though.

Whether or not it does, this looks like a very well made game, and I'd like to play it regardless of platform. Don't have a 360 yet though, so it coming to PS3 would be music to my ears.

Like I said though, looks fantastic regardless, and hopefully I can play it on a friends console if it doesn't go multi.

This would be another one of Scrivener's "prophecies" come to light if true though, interesting.

In all honesty, I doubt it, but they ...

Interesting info, but I'm not seeing this running amok on the Playstation franchise...at all.

To me it's simple; if there's already over 1 million people that own the flagship title out of 3.5 million users, then I'd say there isn't much to worry about in this case...cool idea and smart move, but this sort of thing is certainly not going to derail Sony. For that to happen, the 100 million PS2 owners would have to suddenly lose interest in games, so case closed.

Looks as if though you'd be playing an anime, I like the style, and it is very faithful to the original(which was a remake of a remake...of a remake). I can't wait to see what Guile looks like.

Maybe if this is successful 2D fighters will have a small resurgence? Doubtful, but it would be nice.

Now all I want is Marvel vs. Capcom 2 in 1080p(the king of 2D fighters IMO), and I'm set.

haven't been having problems developing on the hardware. Hopefully that means a smooth framerate without compromises. I'm very satisfied with the screens I've seen though(assuming that they are from the PS3 version), and this is the TS team, so I'm pretty confident that they'll deliver on this one.

You know...the whole "people that don't like rumble are in denial" argument is just as stale as the "we don't need rumble!" one...

I disagree with your comparison in that losing rumble is not equivalent to losing a button, as buttons/motion sensing are the interface with your machine...while rumble is not.

I'd say it's more akin to having an optical mouse and then purchasing the updated version which would(comparative to Sony's SIXAXIS, anyway...

Not to say that I don't expect anything less from FR, but I didn't think this would shape up as well as it is at the moment.

I have a feeling that Haze will be a sleeper hit though...maybe another good game that doesn't sell well. If they continue with their penchant of classic shooters though(Goldeneye, TS), they've got my money.

I can't wait to try this game out! I hope the controls are tight, they look like it anyway.

I got it. Thanks to the OP, wouldn't have known otherwise.

stop stifling your developers and give them ample time to craft a game on arguably the worlds most beloved superhero.

There's a start. Ridiculous. Blank slate + Fall release? I think I'd rather not bat an eye at this one.

Starcraft reminds me a lot of Halo.

It's nothing revolutionary, easy enough to learn, and doesn't and didn't have the best graphics around.

The great thing about Starcraft is that it's just so damn well balanced, much like Halo. It's not a resources hog like some games are, so things like frame-rate hitches and what-not are never a worry. That's beside the point though...

I really think the balance and simplicity is what makes it so spectacular. It...

My favorite game of all time finally gets some TLC...I hope it delivers in every aspect just like the first.

They went too arcadey with Live when they started focusing on the superstars. Then, they had all of these ridiculous, unbalanced tricks and techniques that took away ANY realistic integrity Live had. That's all I'm seeing if these things come to light.

Football is a team sport for a reason, and the role players make big plays when they have to, just like any superstar.

I won't deny that these sound pretty cool in practice, but may amount to little more than all ...

Some of the best lighting I've seen on a game up to this point in time, Ninja Theory has apparently been doing their homework. HS does have a very cinematic quality about it that's all too rare in games today, and hopefully it can help kick-start a sort of paradigm shift among developers. Besides that, the combat looks fantastic, and I like the slow-mo camera angle interludes...good stuff.

It's gonna be a good Fall ladies and gentlemen...

I had the same problem a long time ago with IE. Ever since switching to Firefox, the problem went away.

Not to say that IE sucks(although many will preach this), as I didn't have many other problems with it before, it's just that Firefox worked for this particular site and IE didn't, plain and simple. Try a new browser, I've heard that opera is a good one too, but I've never tried it myself.

Heavenly Sword was being developed either around the same time or before GoW...take heed that Ninja Theory had originally approached the XBox camp for support, and were turned away.

This isn't one of those "step-on-your-toes" type comments, just providing some clarification for those who are either misinformed, or with aims of misleading others.

is that(oddly enough) all of these screens and trailers are mostly from games we've all known about, and the new announcements(maybe except for timeshift) haven't been about upcoming heavy-hitters. I like the fact that we're being kept on our toes, makes me anxious for the next big event or press release. I think it's just getting better and better, with no signs of the stampede slowing down. We'll be hitting mach speed soon folks...just be prepared...because I really don't foresee there bein...

Fantastic looking game, seems like a evolutionary twist on Mega-Man if you ask me, and I'm not complaining one bit. Looking forward to purchasing this one come Christmas time.

scoured this site myself and couldn't find it, many thanks given, don't know how you did it...but it doesn't matter, because you did it! Thanks again.

and I'm one of them...I just hope it's ambition is fully realized. Myspace and youtube would not be what they are today were it not for the huge communities that adopted them and were passionate about them. This game may be well received...but if nobody cares to put forth the effort, it could tank.

With that said, I can't wait to see how it develops if it does take off, and I could see this game working very closely with Home, as far as in-game content goes. Keeping my fingers ...
