Denial is the easiest way to solve your problems I suppose.
Beyond 3D is not so widely known as a forum that some developers visit from time to time. Not everyone there is a dev, obviously, but many of the individuals on that forum are quite knowledgeable on computer architecture. Read some of the stickies and other threads and see for yourself. Maybe you'll cry liar, liar, about that too, because, it's just preposterous for people on a forum to know what they're talking about,...
Now, I've always thought of you as one of the more intelligent and respectable folk around here, but lately, your DJ bashing has been somewhat juvenile. There's a multitude of people, 360 and PS fans alike that say things that are way more outlandish and foolhardy than what DJ says, but yet and still, your sincerest efforts of degradation are focused on him.
Hardly ever do you say anything to disprove what he says, but more along the lines of "prove it, you liar", &qu...
for the future of the Cell processor...
I thought it was a good interview, mainly because it's nice to know that there are quality developers that are utilizing the PS3's hardware exceptionally well. While that's basically to be expected with a console, it's really just cool to hear a developer speaking out positively about their work with the PS3. This is especially relevant among the myriad of hardware related negativity that storms the internet seemingly on a daily basis.
I'm particularly interested in the Sixaxis...
Seems like the 360 is getting a pretty good line-up of racers, with this, GRO, Test Drive, Colin and Gotham.
I haven't played the first one, but I'd like to try this one out, it appears as though it's shaping up to be a winner.
and one of them end up being correct because so many of them throw out different speculations. Whatever the case, I think the PS3 will do well. I won't speak for everyone, but after I got my PS3, 4 of my co-workers decided to get one, and none of them complained about the price point. We're not exactly rich individuals, either. All I'm saying is, FROM MY EXPERIENCE, is that people want the PS3.
Like it or not, the vast majority of people don't care about all the little nuances...
I think it's safe to say PS3 and 360 fans alike are itching at the chance to see exactly how close this title is to the trailer. I know I am, and I just hope it's outstanding, as that trailer set the bar pretty high for this game.
It's not entirely bad news if it doesn't though, as the projected release date isn't until late this year, so there's still time for polish.
Alternatively, if it DOES look as good as the trailer, the next few months is icing on the cake...
as much promise as the trailer did. First game was riddled with bugs, but in many areas, it was clear that we were dealing with a competent team of developers, perhaps they were simply ill-equipped. Whatever the case, this game almost has to deliver, otherwise I foresee many Guerilla employees looking in the classifieds by next year.
Again, I just hope this turns out to be a fantastic game, it sure as hell looks fun.
4 or 5 MK games were, I can't help but be extremely skeptical about this next title. Deadly Alliance wowed graphically, but the game itself was monumentally poor. I won't attribute these bad games to the departure of Tobias, as they were bad(save for the first three) when he was around as well, but I really don't think the team understands how to make a good fighter anymore. Oh well, I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I'm not expecting anything better than Bloody Roar.
and most of us are just blowing it out of proportion. I've thought of some crazy ideas myself, but I don't think it will be much more than the revival of a classic franchise and/or the acquiring of a discontinued popular franchise. Maybe a new studio, but I doubt it.
I have to wonder though, have they been working on a superior, updated, or new engine the entire time the franchise has been on hiatus, or were they waiting on the green light to start development? I certainly hope it's the former, as the 2K games have never felt rushed in my opinion, and to see a rushed one released would be the biggest travesty of the year. I've got faith in the team though, so I believe(and hope) that it will once again be the superior football franchise.
Me a liar, coming from the man who posted images of REAL VEHICLES and claiming them as Forza 2 graphics. You need to get your head out of the clouds, my friend. Consider this the last time I'll entertain you in this thread, as you sure are dense. Hi-res GT4? You must be living on the moon.
Have you seen the comparison shots of GT4 vs GTHD? The difference in polygon count is beyond monumental. I think YOU are the one that needs to "get over it" as you so eloquently ...
that posted images of real vehicles claiming they were from Forza. Simply hilarious. Horrible you say? If you say so boss, but all of those reviewers you love to quote so much seem to think that it's got the best graphics among current racers right now.
someone who doesn't feel the need to argue over trivial and minimal differences of multiplatform titles. I think this looks considerably better than what we've seen last, and I'm happy that they've finally given us an update, as I was getting worried about the status of this game. Hopefully we get some new Warhawk footage soon.
has effectively paralleled Sonic, in being a once great franchise destroyed by the very people who started it. Interesting, as this was the worst one in the series since 4. Needless to say, I've lost all faith in Mortal Kombat for the next generation, I think the whole team should just throw in the towel and let another dev team take a crack at reviving a once great fighting franchise. Strange how the first three are among my absolute favorite games....
Appears to be shaping up worse than the fiasco that was the PS2 version. Why do they even bother? I'm not impressed by anything in that video, and the screens actually look worse. I'll sleep on this one unless they show some DRASTIC improvements.
I've still got my fears about this game, but I certainly hope it's a killer app. How often do we get to kill other flying dragons these days?
for PS3, this is an outstanding deal, although I wonder why they're doing such a huge sale like this.
that the developers are still polishing this game up, in addition to the multiplayer? Well, I won't lie, that sucks for the folks in Japan who have already purchased it, but then again, FF7 ha additional content that the Japanese release didn,t so maybe they won't care.
Either way, I'm more and more excited to get my hands on this with every new screen or video that's released.
Nothing spectacular, that's for sure, but they're obviously well done and clean looking. I'm sure Halo 3 will rock the house like the previous 2 iterations. One of the things I like about Halo is how the mechanics are so simple, but the gameplay is so deep and varied, it's a different experience every time, and hopefully 3 continues this tradition of sorts.
BTW feralphoenix, Sony NEVER said Killzone was a Halo-killer, and they never said it about KZ 2. FYI, Killzone was origina...
