is Sony's acquisition of them from 2005...I think it's safe to say that they may not update their site too often. We've heard of and known of their online job adverts for a very long time now.
With that said, I doubt this is anything new, perhaps just something so long forgotten that it's thought of as news upon rediscovery.
fighters should be utilizing physics and dynamic animations just as nearly every other genre is starting to. As deep as you may want to call any of todays fighters, whether that be Virtua Fighter or Tekken, they're still filled with canned animations and laughable exploits. There's no reason why a simple jab should stop a full force spinning hook kick, period. Whenever I bring such issues up, I'm given the excuse "that's just the way the game works!"
Well, Mario worke...
Although I do remember hearing about it many months ago. I love the art style they're going for here, it looks gritty in a similar vein to Gears, but also very cinematic as well. If it plays in motion as breathtaking as it looks in these stills, we should be in for one Hell of a ride.
So far so good, I'll be keeping my eye on this one from here on out.
Brilliant stroke here, much more convenient than having an entirely separate KB.
that is definitely the corniest plot I've heard for Tekken(if true). I'm sure the game will be stellar as always though, can't wait.
That said, I hope they don't end up rush-jobs, as I'm anticipating both these games, Heavenly Sword more so than Lair, though.
playing NBA 2K7 yesterday. My download just paused at 37%, and wouldn't resume until I was finished. I personally don't mind leaving my PS3 on to download something, but I can't deny the convenience of background downloading. Hopefully they work out the kinks, but maybe I did something wrong, who knows. Wasn't playing online by the way.
I remember Black was supposed to feature destructible environments, but I had a hard time puncturing anything in that game. Not a bad title at all, just pointing that out. I do have my doubts when it comes to this kind of thing, especially since I personally haven't seen destructible environments implemented in an impressive way(usually the same window pane/table panel breaks off no matter where the object is shot).
Hopefully they implement technology similar to the Indiana Jon...
and it's a breath of fresh air, especially among the whirlwind of negativity surrounding the gaming industry as a whole right now. Nice to see someone who has no problem being realistic, especially when they can highlight their own shortcomings and successes.
With that said, his comment makes a lot of sense at this point. In two or three years time(when all 3 systems have a user base of more than 15-20 million each), there's a pretty good chance that we'll see a higher rate of ...
and from what I can tell, it seems right up their alley. I'd like to try it myself, looks like a fun RPG.
I do realize that it's a work in progress, but it looks as if it plays just like Tekken 5(which played like Tekken 3...). Even the graphics are a bit underwhelming to say the least. They do look good, but I remember being blown away by Tekken Tag's debut on the PS2 many years ago. I hate to say it...but Virtua Fighter looks better at the moment, and this is coming from a Tekken fan(VF is cool, but very difficult to master).
I suppose there's nothing wrong with that(considering ...
but also very frustrating at times. I recall coming across a post in another forum suggesting the title should have been "fall of a cliff-storm", which is pretty accurate IMO. I am, admittedly, not a fan of off-road racers at all though, so needless to say, I'm not exactly the most adept player when it comes to these types of games. That said, I do thoroughly enjoy the demo, and for me personally, that's saying a lot considering my stance on off-road racers.
The frust...
as I ran into this same problem myself. If you still have IE installed on your computer, I would suggest using it for N4G, as I have had no problems with it so far. I'm not particularly fond of IE myself, so I use it exclusively for this site and Firefox for anything else. Just a suggestion, I can't confirm whether or not this is a widespread problem.
but really, I think that this site could do much better with a bit more civility as you suggest, and that includes myself I would think, given that previous post.
Personally, I have no problems with comparisons and contrasts, whether they be launch line-ups, the games themselves, or the hardware. What gets my goat is when said comparisons and contrasts are contrived, A.K.A. trolling, and in most cases it's pretty easy to discern between a sensible post and a trolling post.

- As I have previously stated, your hate and discontent for Sony seems astronomically higher than your love for the XBox brand, and it shines through on a daily basis. All one needs to do is visit any Sony related topic, and the proof is in the pudding. This particular retort is what I'd call a pretense, my friend, and people the world over have been using them t...
because you constantly sound like an extremely disgruntled fan or former employee. In any case, like I said, much of the time you do actually bring up some interesting and viable complaints(the ones that aren't a twist or lie, that is), but you have no credibility because we all know you simply loathe Sony, and all of your efforts may be to justify that, but it holds no weight because you simply refuse to give Sony a chance. I hope you realize that you, who isn't even a fan, are more unhappy ...
I've been playing too much Resistance and Motorstorm I suppose...
Well, I guess I'll be ordering this soon as I had originally intended, this post reminded me. Hopefully it's as good as the original.
I just thought I'd keep you informed :)
I wasn't implying that you were lying or anything, I know that it's a common misconception that it was Sony who touted KZ as a "Halo-killer". I respect your comments as well bro, no doubt, as I generally don't even bother replying to people whom I can't stand, isn't worth it in most cases.
I didn't know it was more rooted in humor than anything else, so no harm done.
As far as the split RAM goes, I say it's a toss up, and depends upon the situation. It reminds me of an all-in-one printer. While I agree with DJ that having split ram is beneficial due to the different type of RAM CPU's and GPU's use, I don't necessarily think it's better overall. Reason being, is that unified RAM seems more convenient and time efficient, like the all-in-one printer/copier/scanner/t...
Timesplitters is a classic IMO, I loved FR's take on the fast-paced run-n-gun, easily one of the best shooters I've ever played. From the several game modes, characters, and leaderboard, replayability was one of it's strong points. I'm not looking for a TS clone in this, just hopefully another quality product from a talented dev team.
