On second thought, no...I don't, they're not even worth that. If you think graphics mean nothing, then that's essentially a slap in the face to all of the artists and engineers who work hard to achieve these breakthroughs and innovative techniques. I don't think anyone will argue that it's ultimately gameplay that matters MOST, but graphics matter in the whole scope of things.

I don't think this is relevant because it could potentially pertain to all of the systems.
Simply put, there's isn't a huge library of killer apps for any console right now, so I this is just spin, and a spin that could be directed at any console. Heck, I've got almost 600 WU done on F@H. Check out some stats. I'm not the only one.
All in all though, I'm just a bit sick of these armageddon prophecies that pop up all ove...
4 was easily the worst of the series, but wow...was DA - Armaggeddon ever a trio of disasters. 3 was the last great one IMO.
I actually never played SF3, but I loved the alpha trilogy, especially 3(GUILE FTW!).
Sad too, I WAS a die-hard MK fanboy myself, but my loyalty ultimately lies with quality, which is something the series failed to have starting with and ever since 4.
It's half the reason people scour the internet for news to dump here, troll here, or whatever the case. This means squat. The games will and have been coming, and regardless...it's still money in the pocket.
As I've been saying, hardly earth shattering, especially when you consider the stagnation the fighting genre has been experiencing over the last 6 or so years. In any case, I know I'm looking forward to this.
Well, I played it earlier this year, and I wasn't terribly impressed. It was ok. Certainly not bad by any stretch, but not very memorable either. I prefer Gears as a TPS to be honest, but who knows, maybe it will improve. Was a tad boring at times, and the vital suits sucked.
Good of him to give credit where it's due at least.
We're on the heels of it now, and I wouldn't be surprised if at least a few people were stocking up on electronics in preparation for possible droughts.
It's interesting though. Halo 3 has already hit last month, so I think it's fair to say that the consoles have a pretty equal line-up. Maybe whichever console sells the most(and game of course) will tell us what genre is the most popular this year.
and it's sad that it has to come down to that, in that there is even an anti-console group AND a need to oppose it. Ah well.
In any case, the idea is good on paper, and I think the series has loads of potential, they just need to straighten out their development cycle. It looks largely unchanged from when I saw screens and vids of the single player campaign years ago, as if it somehow fell into development limbo along the way.

That's very refreshing to hear. A point I made to one of the more notorious trolls on this site many many months ago.
The trolls and fanboys make valid complaints(sometimes). The thing is, they're only valid to owners of the systems themselves. Many PS3 owners aren't complaining about the same things the trolls are, maybe save for the lack of games, and that's surely coming to an end, particularly with the holiday releases and what's mapped out for next year.
