Actually the game Lair using it fully with no lag. It can be done. I just think a lot of devs want the better controls on the PS3 controller. Sorry bud. ;)
I think it's fair to say that Microsoft has more of the attention in the US, but the PS3 worldwide still has more sales happening month by month. The real question should be what Microsoft can do to stop the world momentum of the PS3? Microsoft continues to only list gains in the US and is totally silent about the rest of the world.
I'm just glad Sony is ignoring what the 3DS is doing and is focusing on the hardcore gamer. If you don't like what Sony is offering with this, go back to your Kinect bowling or Wii Sports.
I just can't wait to have Forza with the 16 cars they are adding on track. Some GT stuff will be better and some Forza stuff will be better. Both are just awesome series now. You can't go wrong with either. If you are a true racing fan, you'll enjoy both. :p
Regardless, it looks like a great trailer. It's not gameplay for 95% of the video, but they did make it look great. Same with Uncharted 3 so far. But based on what I've seen with the beta, I'd say most parts of Uncharted 2, Crysis 2 and Uncharted 3 will look better.
It's going to be interesting next gen. MS will depend more on the casuals, but Nintendo could easily scoop that market back up. Keep in mind that Nintendo has what? Maybe 80 million casuals with the Wii and Kinect has maybe mustered 6-7 million? It's still a market for Nintendo to lose. If Sony releases a PS4 at the same price point as the 360, it's going to do great worldwide. The 360 IMO will still do great in NA though and the UK again.
Now do the same thing at Rare and see how pumped the studio is with creating an Avatar based Kinect game. Props to Sony for leaving them alone.
Makes no sense. It's the fact that there are credit card numbers stored in your account that is the problem. The same thing happens if you pay for Live or games with a credit card through XBL.
Considering Microsoft gave me a free game for my bricked 360 and another free game when XBL went down a week each time, no, it's not. Oh wait. MS never gave me anything for a dead console that seems to have affected probably more than half of the consoles the first few years. Nor did they give me anything for the down times.

Let's see. RRoD still affects users that have the older models. RRoD lasted about 3 years and still affects users of the older models. PSN down lasts what? Maybe 3 weeks max? It's not even close. Windows puts users at risk every day for hacks, viruses, you name it....

What people keep forgetting is that the best demos are being done on PCs that have wayyyy more ram and processing power than the 5 year old 360. Even cheap laptops have at LEAST double the ram of the 360 and PS3. The 360 is going to have more of a limit as to what can be done. Show me more on the 360, and I'll be more impressed. Show me on a PC, and it's the PC doing the calculations with Kinect.
