I don't know why people are so keen on remote play...
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of playing my games on many devices but I want the experience optimized to the device. Also, ideally, my progress in the game would be saved across devices as well. Remotely taking control of my console does nothing if I want to play the game on a trip, on a plane or outside of my home because the lag would be horrible.
I find that most campaigns that are longer (especially in the action game genre) become grinds after about the 8-10 hour mark...
I would rather play 7 quality hours that don't grind then 16 hours of a complete grind fest...

3) Digital downloads are available on every console you sign into as soon as they have downloaded enough to be playable
4) I can customize my gameplay and entertainment app experience by snapping other apps to the side

I am not talking about rushing games to market. I am simply saying I hate any console vendor that is always telling me "the next game is great" when they still haven't even shipped their current games.
And as for Sony's constantly late delivery and pushing back exclusives. You would think that a multi-billion dollar company would learn from previous mistakes and be more conservative in scheduling. I think they do it on purpose (most of the time), because ...
OK. I have to say the game looks great. But, why would Sony be so focused on "the next games" instead of the launch games?
That's one of my issues with Sony. They keep on telling you "the best is coming". When they should focus on "the best is here".

Knack. I tried it out at a Best Buy. And although it is didn't seem like the greatest game ever, I did not see it belonging in the high 50's on metacritic.

They did so good last gen... Delivered a $600 console with BC...
Then, they killed BC to get the cost down... Then, they insulted PS3 fanboy's intelligence even more by release "HD" versions of PS2 games on the PS3... Not only did they drop BC, but also made gamers pay to enjoy games they may already have owned and played on the PS2...

1) Pre-orders are pretty much equal for the two devices. Because neither Sony nor MS can meet demand.

Just because the gen starts with X1 at crappier frame rates and resolutions, does not mean it will continue through the whole generation.
This looks great. I think the key here is the concept of using many apps at once on the console and easily flipping and viewing them. Although the demo only shows TV I can see a lot of uses for it...
Ex. Bring up you tube of a level you are having a problem with and then at the same time play the level. Right now most people do this with a computer beside their console.
