So is it happening on X1?
If it is then I can understand but I haven't heard any such thing on X1 yet.
If it isn't there must be difference on how this is handled through PSN that causes the issue.
Yeah, because right now the exclusive games really suck that are there today...
I played through Knack, Resogun, and Killzone... The only game I would go back to or feel that was worth playing was Resogun...
Killzone did not live up to previous iterations, and Knack should've been half as long and a downloadable title.
Verge = PS Fanboys...
The title could've just as easily read...
"Sony counters MS gaming stats with meaningless marketing figures".
I've played thru Ryse and did not witness a single QTE. There are finishing moves that you can trigger with the right trigger followed by 1-4 button sequences, but that is not a QTE it is the completion of an awesome finisher.
And the finishers are completely optional. You can play through the entire game only triggering a finisher once (tutorial level).
Personally, I would rather see game stats then console sales...
I only care that both vendors sell enough consoles to keep on producing great games.
Both consoles are selling well. Total sales are more about how many consoles each company can put on the shelf to sell rather than whether one is out selling the other.
On Black Friday, MS probably had more stock because PS4 devoted their consoles to NA launch and then Black Friday was their Euro launch.
And Xbox One/Wii U...??? LOL...
To begin with it was never delayed. EA said MS misspoke when they said it was a launch title...
That said, I can't wait! I loved Peggle on X360...
@Hicken... My response was factual based on my experience with both X1 and PS4... I am quite pissed with my PS4 purchase. It is a useless brick now, until games start to ship for it next year... The exclusive launch lineup was weak, there is no other way to describe it.
@skoorydook... I took the past two weeks off to game. Some people take holidays to travel, I take holidays to game. Is there something wrong with that?
As a person who travels a lot and uses a lot of different devices, digital is way better (Assuming you can maintain Internet connectivity).
I'm sure the triangle, square, circle, and x button have had much more use...
Don't you have any ps4 games to play? Right.... There is only resogun worth playing right now. How does it feel owning a $400 console with one game that is worth playing?
After my first three days with my ps4 I was bored stiff (completed kz campaign, knack campaign, and resogun). A week and a half after buying x1 I still have lots worth playing (level 40 in forza, completed ryse campaign, going thru dr3 again because it is so fun, fighting online with ki, level 15 in p...
For me Nintendo screwed up in they way the sold the original Wii. Rather than embracing the core market along with the casual market they stated (on many occasions) that the Wii was more about casuals and often ignored core gamer needs.
So, when they went to Wii U they needed to again capture the casual market, but casuals weren't big on the new console. And because the console isn't much better than a 360 or PS3 the core market pretty much ignored their offering. ...
I agree with his tweet about positive reinforcement, but telling off people is out of line...
B2 is the last money Mr. "Arrogant" Pitchford will see from me.
The first DLCs of B2 stunk, Aliens stunk, Duke Nukem Forever stunk, Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway stunk...
Gearbox's only claim to fame is a Halo 2 port to PC and Borderlands. The rest of their work has been crap.
Agreed. This is a simple supply and demand issue at this time. Both systems are in demand, it just so happens that MS has more systems to sell.
Because it has been the most marketed game in the past year...
Personally, I am more looking forward to Unchartered 4, Fable Legends, MGS V, Elder Scrolls Online, and Quantum Break then this game.
I invest my hard earned money into the stock markets and retirement plans...
As an investor, I never invest in gaming related companies because they are high risk and I don't see the long term returns I can get in other industries.
If you think that is BS you obviously know absolutely nothing about the investment industry. You call it PR, no... It is investment 101.
Dear Gamers:
Companies expect a specific percentage return on investment to continue to want to put money into creating great games for you. If you don't give us that, we will invest our money elsewhere and all you will end up with is a bunch of very low budget games.
Since you don't want to give us any money through piracy, used, and rental game markets we who put up the real cash to make great games are going to nickel and dime you with micro-trans...
Slashing the price will not significantly improve the result. Nintendo has to re-think and re-focus.
Wii U is a dead console. Not because it is bad, but more because they alienated a lot of core gamers with the Wii, and didn't get the same adoption of Wii on Wii U with casual gamers.
I would prefer a system that has less features, but is stable, and that's what I seem to own on my X1.
I like the games that have shipped, I like the UI (although it needs work), the snap feature is very cool, and I did not Kinect and have noticed nothing wrong with doing that.
To me, the experience has been stable, reliable, and the exclusive games are superior to that shipped on PS4 to date (I have a PS4 too). Resogun, Killzone, and Knack vs. Deadrisin...
