Why wouldn't I get a PS4? I am a gamer. I will still enjoy Killzone, Knack, and Resogun... I won't bother with the indie ports because I've already played most of them on PC.

This game has a AAA game engine, AAA writing, and AAA fun. Just because it isn't a huge leap over previous games, doesn't make it any less enjoyable...

I have seen a lot of games look good and running was less than 1080p... I have seen 1080p games that just suck...
Meet the Robinsons, Surf's Up Fantastic 4 Rise of Silver Surf, Tetris Evolution and Vampire Rain are all 1080p games on 360.... They all suck...

I guess Sony fanboys have nothing better to do. Because they sure don't play any games. They spend their time surfing for anything X1 and push as much negative news as they can to the top and any positive news they don't click on to move it down.
You have to be nice to Sony fanboys. Since they are just getting re-releases of PC indie titles, a bunch of multi-platform releases, and Killzone, Knack, and Resogun as their only true launch exclusives they have nothing better to do than surf the net and jump into Xbox news articles and try and raise fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
Meanwhile X1 buyers will be experiencing the many exclusive games of DR3, Forza 5, Ryse, Lococycle, Crimson Dragon, Fighter Within, and Killer Ins...
You would never buy any smart phones, computers, or consoles if you saw what is happening in the background to make them work.
Why do you think that every X1 and PS4 are slated for day one firmware updates? These companies will work until a day or two before the actual release to squash every bug and issue possible. And then they will continue squashing bugs and issues for at least 3-6 months after release.
To me, this shows that MS is not satisfied with XB...

After having so much mentioned about the greatness of Indie games over the past few months since the PS4 was unveiled, I don't see much talk about Indie games as being "top new IPs" last gen...
To me the top new IPs were (In no order):
Gears of War
Unchartered
Ni No Kuni
Deadrising
Left 4 Dead
Crackdown
Alan Wake
Dead Space
No way. It is a sad day when gamers are more interested in marketing and the gaming media then in actually talking about games and console capabilities.
I think the gaming media should go grab a life.

Personally, I am getting both systems.
If I was strapped for cash I would not purchase either system. There are interesting games on both systems. Ryse, Lococycle, Resogun, and Knack are the only truly new and refreshing IPs. The rest are mostly iterations of existing IPs.
Not really cost justification for a new console. I would wait for more new IPs.

I remember when a 1 GB drive was a world wide wonder, a 1.44 MB floppy disk was insane, hitting the 100 MHz mark for processors made me wonder why you would need more, and the idea of 1 MB of memory was pie in the sky stuff, not to mention a wireless network in your home or on the road that could out perform a 10 Mbps wired connection.

Crytek is correct. It has to be based on what you are doing from a compute perspective in the game.
Unfortunately, processors are not yet fast enough on any device to give a full gaming experience and give you 60 FPS in a game such as this one.

I have over 500 purchased arcade / GoD plus add-ons through X360 marketplace...
That equates to 12 x 320 GB hard drives...
It is a friggin' nightmare managing storage!
