I hope this analyst is not paid for his work. I can get a three year old kid to come to the same conclusion.
Just look at the numbers today. 360 is strongest in north America. To say they will be strongest in North America again is not a leap of faith.
I define low as game or console breaking...

I have seen some disappointments though...

There were those news articles a bit back where EA had posted that there was an issue with the PS4 firmware updates and BF4...
Today, EA updates BF4 and Sony posts a new firmware...
Good to see they seem to be coordinating efforts.
Day One and Yesterday.
Sony had a Day One, a second one, and this is the third.
I would expect both to get updates rapidly for the next few months at least.
All I do now is see what gaming site these articles come from and black list them...

I have both the PS4 and X1... To me, both weren't ready yet.
PS4 looks more polished, but I have been booted out of games many times and had to restart the console more than 5 times.
X1 doesn't look as polished, but I have only been booted from a game once and only had to restart the console twice.
When have they "LIES" to consumers. They were very upfront with Kinect and DRM well in advance of selling any of their consoles.
They did say that Kinect and DRM were designed into the device and not removable. Then, they redesigned the device to remove them. You could probably construe that as a lie. I don't think it was because they had to rework their design to take these things out... Kudos for them to do so.

Not really fair to compare at this point. X1 launched in 13 countries with about a million units... PS4 launched in North America with about a million units.

In the US and Canada Digital Prices are the same as retail.
For example, I just went to the PS4 store in the UK and Knack is 52.99. But it is 49.99 at Game UK.
Sony is charging more than retail for digital while MS is price matching now.

Digital makes sense for people who travel a lot or have multiple homes. And if you don't bother trading/reselling.
I only buy digital so I don't have to lug blu-rays around everywhere. I download to both of my X1's at my two homes and download to my third X1 that I take traveling.
One less thing to worry about.

Before any intelligent people do something on the web the first thing they should do is research its credibility. MS has been crystal clear that X1 is not BC all the way through their marketing fiascos.

I think it is better re-phrased that fanboys are the dumbest human beings on the planet.
Support for last gen consoles will end when it is not economical to ship the games on those platforms anymore.
