KI is a downloadable only title. All downloadable titles on all consoles are DRM based.
- PS4 is $100 less, but X1 has Kinect in the box
- Sony has a lot of good 1st parties but MS uses second and third parties to make up the gap
- DRM is a red herring. It never saw the light of day in the final product. Sony has done other things... $600 console to start a generation, forcing Blu-ray, going from free to paid PSN, etc...
- Controllers are a matter of preference. Generally XB gamers like the XB controller more, generally PS gamers like the PS controller ...

There are problems with the game, and the devt and publisher together are accountable to fix them. If it was so bad for Dice they could just go independent from EA and find another publisher...

Neither is as bad as reviewers put them out to be. They could use some work but the basis is there for each one to become a long term IP.
I don't mind in this case because it was a great game that under sold. By re-releasing hopefully Square Enix will get some nice profits to pump into the next Tomb Raider.
And I really loved this game. The story is great, the controls are masterful, and the gameplay is great! I would prefer if it was only $30-40 though...

I have both consoles... There is no side worth taking because they are both corporations. I buy consoles to play games, not to rant about how great MS or Sony is.
MS has a distinct pattern. They bring out more exclusives and better exclusives at the start of the generation. And then they don't do as many exclusives at the end of the generation.

LOL. Indies are definitely important to the industry but Sony dealt with a lack of launch content by getting a bunch of PC Indie ports... Really Sony launched with Resogun, Killzone, and Knack as exclusives. Nothing wrong with them, but these games have not given me a lot of reasons to replay them.
MS may not have a bunch of AAA titles, but at least they got a lot of exclusive and content that makes you want to play them again... DR3, Forza 5, Ryse, Powerstar Golf, Killer...
1) Games. Deadrising 3, Killer Instinct, Forza 5, Peggle 2, Powerstar Golf, and Ryse are all timed or exclusives worth picking up.
2) HDMI In feature... I have my 360 hooked up to it, so although X1 does not have Backwards Compatibility, being able to do this makes you think you do.
3) Snap... I like snap a lot
4) Speed of the UI, switching, etc. X1 is highly responsive
5) The new challenges and achievement system... Challenges are nice and the achievements...

I remember last gen when PS3 was being outsold monthly by X360 in the US... The next month Sony came out with the following headline:
"PlayStation is Best Selling Brand in the US"...
Were they wrong? No. Between PS2 and PS3 they were easily outselling X360. Was it deceptive? Absolutely...
MS leadership has not been thinking this way. It has only been a suggestion from influential shareholders.
X1 has the basis of a much broader and better platform than 360. Yes, it is short on substance right now, but like 360, X1 will build substance over time...
The first 360 dashboard and features was pretty pathetic... It evolved into a masterpiece. X1 will do the same.
The first thing I have been doing lately is adding any site that compares consoles in a negative way to each other or to predecessors to my blocked sites in my web browser.
Really, these types of articles are on the immature and dumb side...
I encourage everyone to buy the console they believe they will use... I have both PS4 and X1. And while I prefer one over the other they both have pros and cons.
