I will just buy USB powered pocket drives as necessary and economically feasible. Right now the 2 TB drives seem to be the sweet spot.
I'm not so concerned about a single drive holding everything. Much more important to be able to buy drives as I want and plug and unplug them as required. USB will make it easy to swap drives even when the console is on. Unlike 360, where you had to remove the drive from the internal SATA harness.
Nice job on this upda...
There are several factors probably:
- Size of development team
- How much technical expertise help they are getting from MS
- Willingness of Devt/Pub to spend the time to optimize
- May be using some new tricks that the last OS update may have added
I don't see how we will be disappointed. MS has been very clear that they offer two games per month on games with gold for each of the 360 and X1 platforms.
Since X1 is not swamped by indie games they will have to go to to the retail side quickly.
This thread is about MS Games with Gold offerings. The article does not have a single mention of Sony in it so your Sony comments are off topic.
I have stopped acquiring (free or upfront cost) games that have what I call mandatory microtransactions. Meaning you either have to grind 100's of hrs or you have to pay to be able to continue to progress a game forward.
I only acquire games, where the total cost is not "pay as you go". I pay to receive a complete gaming experience. If they don't provide me clear value for money spent they don't want my dollars.
I have no problem with...
Yep, another quality article for a gaming site trying to get hits...
MS has not forced Kinect arm waggling other than Kinect centric games so you obviously don't have or know anything about XB1.
I have DR3, Ryse, Forza 5, Titanfall, etc. In none of those games am I forced to use Kinect. In fact, I don't even have Kinect connected on the XB1 in which I play these and many other controller centric games.
I don't see how unbundling kills motion gaming. They will still have it available and I think a large portion of family buyers will buy XB with Kinect because it appeals to family gaming scenarios such as Dance, motion sports, etc.
Disappointing for sure. I am sure Rare will hire again though. This is probably a re-tooling exercise...
Decrease staff on Kinect stuff increase staff for reviving old IPs.
I bought the X1 with Kinect and I have played it 100's if not 1000's of hours. There is a lot of "new" content on X1. And it has been constant since launch... I do not regret anything about X1's gaming content offerings.
I feel more like a "sucker" owning a PS4. Because I have a PC and play Indie games there. Therefore, my PS4 gets very little time other than booting it once a month for the free games and firmware updates. Luckily I got m...
My bad... Thought it was announcement for PS4 Puppeteer. Should read the article before commenting!
LOL.
It is just Major Nelson doing something new with his podcast...
As usual the gaming media serves up a news article where they take a single quote and blow it into something it wasn't...
And of course the high quality gamers on this site comment and add their sarcastic take on it like a bunch of 8 year olds.
I love the game, but this generation is pre-loading with a lot of recycling of previously done games... I didn't get a PS4, X1, and Wii U to play games I've already been thru.
Great... More recycled games from the past...
Although I really like the MW series and I will buy it when it is cheap enough, I think that the devts and pubs better get a lot more new content out there this gen otherwise it will go down as the recycled generation.
N4G continues to find the highest priority on gamers' minds and most quality news articles!
I don't think that is the problem with Indies. Brothers is a perfect example of a good indie game.
I have a few issues with the way indies are on consoles.
First, most of the indie games we have seen so far on consoles are ports from the PC world. So playing the game again on a different platform is not that great. Especially, with Indie games that typically don't have the same re-playability over and over again as full scale games.
I have 3 X1's. Plenty for my house for now...
I don't need to sell my PS4. And I will play the good games that ship on it... I'm sure eventually there will be some decent stuff. Just like the PS3.
What? I don't have a PS4 because I think its game lineup is crap? You Sony fanboys are really funny...
I buy EVERY console... Have for the past two decades. I loved the PS1 and PS2... The PS3 is a load of crap although I really love TLOU and the Uncharted IPs. I also have a Vita and really love it...
But, the PS4 has nothing worth talking about other than infamous SS and Resogun. I own a PS4 and that's how I feel about it... I can't help it...
Sony fanboys really want this game! LOL.
Can't blame them. My PS4 is collecting dust while my X1 gets used pretty much daily.
I buy all my indie games on PC, So, really all my PS4 has is infamous and well... Ummmmm.... OK... Let's move on...
Obvious Sony fanboy....
And obviously have never played the games you are commenting upon.
How many celebrities were at MS's E3 2013 conference?
