As for Sunset Overdrive. I think it is pre-mature to judge a game we haven't seen any gameplay of.
As for PS4... Take away the Indie games and recycled last gen PSN games and it pretty much has nothing.
As for 1080p and 60 fps... Games on PS4 are dropping to 1080p and 30fps. It is only a matter of time before the drop to 900p or 720p and 30 fps.
I am excited about the game, but we need to see more! When the trailer showed at E3 last year, this game had a feeling of "something different" in a good way.
But until we know what this game is all about including gameplay it is hard to assess.
Have you visited VGC? What facts do you have to support this theory? They are dominated by Sony and Nintendo fans...
Goto their forum threads... For every two Nintendo or Sony threads there is only one MS thread. Look at their reviews... They almost always review Sony games when it is multi-platform.
Look at the signature blocks of their main staff and when they do have gamertags in their signtaures it is never a XB gamertag.

Their hardware numbers are usually pretty good. Their software numbers... Well... They aren't worth anything.
You look at the PS3, 360, and Wii numbers from last gen on VGC, compare them with announcements from the companies and they aren't off by much. Same with this gen.

I agree that it is more immersive, but when you are at home gaming covering your face with a VR device is not my idea of a great gaming experience.
It detaches you from what is going on in your home. And I don't think that is a great thing. Gamers are introverted enough. We don't need to make ourselves completely detached from reality.

Honestly, I am not big on indies devts and couldn't care less for 90% of the indie games. Essentially, I log into my PS4 and see nothing but recycled games I have already played on PC thru steam.
Too much attention is being given to Indies now-a-days. I do agree they add innovation to the games industry, but that innovation is driven from the PC not consoles. They have survived using the PC for years.

As a gamer who owns an XB this clause ensures I get the games at the same time as other console owners. If the game does not ship the same time as a PS4 game I don't expect it on XB with this clause in place. I am fine with that.
What it does do is ensure that if devts give equal attention to XB if they want to ship on that platform. MS is acting on my behalf and (in this case) I like what they are doing.

What I am not fine with is that Sony has done a half lie and 2 full lies here and people are defending that.
First, Sony said that they were targeting the game for 60 fps. They have come up short in that goal so that makes it a half lie although they never explicitly promised 60 fps they did have demos for the press and in some press previews where 60 fps was shown.

That's pretty lame. This is not about selling to every Chinese person. This about selling to the Chinese market however big or small it is.
Chinese have a healthy appetite for electronics so I don't think it will be too much of an issue. I'm sure that they will not sell milllions in the first year but a few hundred thousand would be a great start.
Really. A comparison of Forza Horizon that was delivered on 2005 hardware with a game on 2013 hardware that has bragged and over bragged about 1080p and 60 FPS for the past six months?
PS: I will enjoy DriveClub for what it is and am accepting of 30 FPS (I have stated many times there is nothing wrong with 30 FPS).
But, Sony should stop falsely bragging about its technological superiority. Forza 5 shipped at 1080p and 60 FPS on an supposedly far inferior...
Typically you don't double the frame rate with a patch afterwards.

Gears was considered incredible when it shipped. Go back and look at all the reviews. There is no review that said it was average graphically.

I never said it was about money. What I said is that MS has the resources to do many things without taking away from any of those things. Gamers/gaming media should not knock MS for trying to do more.
As for the rest of your comments... Well, if you think any corporate entity in the gaming industry does not or would not try to do the same thing as MS you ignorant, blind, and clueless. There are plenty of facts to point out that Sony or Nintendo are no better than MS.

Gears of War (2006) was the bar that set the standard last generation.
Not a single game mentioned came out before Gears last gen.
And let's not forget RE Raccoon City. Insomniac has not had much success after Sony exclusivity.
