1. Halo Master Chief Collection
2. Forza Horizon
3. Sunset Overdrive
4. Far Cry 4
5. GTA V
To me, no games count unless they are out by the end of this year.
I think GTA V will be a bigger system seller...
I took both presentations and broke all the announcements down.
Sony showed new KZ DLC... MS showed new DR3 DLC...
Sony showed The Order (2015)... MS did not show Quantum Break (2015)...
Sony did not show DriveClub... MS showed Forza Horizon 2...
Sony put out Entwined today ($9.99)... MS put out Forza Nurbring today (Free)...
Sony showed Battlefield 4 with PS4 timed exclusivity... MS showed CoD AW with X1...
I laugh when people don't think digital is the future...
First, the people sound like people did in the late 90's on music.
Second, PC gamers have almost gone completely digital through services like Steam. It is very rare for people to buy physical games on PC...
Third, over 50% of the games on the number one selling console worldwide (PS4) is digital only.
Fourth, physical game sales are declining while digital sal...

I went though both conferences and it seemed to me that both companies had approximately the same number of announcements and of similar quality.
Sony did spend more time on stats and TV related topics.
And when watching Sony's conference I felt like every game was about doom and darkness (Dark, apocalyptic type games), whereas XB felt like it had a wider variety of experiences (More colorful and wider variety of genres).

Both conferences were solid.
Both told us the games for this year. Both companies gave us a glimpse going forward. Both supported Indies. Both held back for future conferences...
There was nothing negative for either fan base.
Yet another classy move by MS...
I now have 3 new (free) tracks for Forza 5!
I was most happy when I heard that David Jones is back working this game. His studio made the first game great...
Then, when the studio splintered to Ruffian Games and they made Crackdown 2 it felt rushed and felt like it wasn't really a Crackdown game.
Now that he is back I am hoping the next one feels like a Crackdown game and keeps true to the IP.
The issue with stage demos of gameplay is time...
A trailer takes 2-5 mins...
Stage demos eat 10's of minutes.
I think MS did the right thing, now they can follow up the conference with game previews in the media and hands on at their booth.
I think you need to compare the holiday lineup to all other consoles before you call it weak...
We know they are bringing Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, and Halo Master Chief Collection.
Sony is bringing DriveClub so far. I'm sure they'll fill out the rest at their conference later today, but unless Sony brings The Last Guardian and Uncharted 1-3 at the end of the year, they really can't beat X1's lineup.
I got a bit concerned when they are talking about "Where they are headed" vs. a value proposition for the rest of this year.
If they only talk about the future they will fail.
All about games, that's what everyone should want...
It was well balanced between multi-platform, exclusive, 2014 and forward looking.
At the end I was left feeling good about the future of my X1... Let's hope Sony does the same for the future of my PS4...
Instead PS uses Yoshida...
First, I don't know whether to believe it is cancelled or not. We are over five years after it was announced so it would not be surprising either way.
If it is not cancelled then obviously Sony sees value in it so it will probably great.
If it is cancelled it that is ok, as Sony obviously feel the game isnt good enough.
But, if it is cancelled gamers should learn a lesson. Games are vapourware until they have a ship date and previews o...
Dual Shockers news strategy for Xbox...
Compile a few of related tweets from Phil Spencer and call that news every few days...
Or you could just follow Phil on twitter and take dual shockers out of the picture...
If E3 2014 is about two games that might ship in fall 2015 then neither will win.
E3 2014 should be about games slated for 2014. Not 2015. Gamers deserve focus to be on the selection of games that they will have access to this year, not vaporware. Especially in a technology based industry where delays are rampant (Ex. last guardian, killzone 2, Alan wake, too human, drive club, watch dogs etc). Star gazing to 2015 or beyond is lame and shows that the consoles were shipped...
For all those disagreeing with ats1992 did you actually watch the press briefing last year?
If you haven't then go and watch it...

And they haven't stated anything amazing about the DLC.
