The fact that MGS4 had FOUR of em'! A more streamlined approach would have done it better. Look at Uncharted, no install at all, and no load times after the first one.
Also bear in mind the production stage these games are suggested to be at in the article.
First of all, got any evidence of us being unreliable? Considering I provided evidence of the contrary in the actual article and all. Second, foundament isn't even a word...
That's what makes me so interested in this... He did enough with PS2's versions, and he exceeded my expectations with MGS4 on PS3, so the thought of a RSX/Cell powered Blu-Ray enabled Zone of the Enders gets me hyped.
Well, read the comments on the last rumors we posted from this source... "this is unlikely, but awesome if true!". And they came true.
Think outside the box. Outside MGS... He has other great games too ya' know! Plus, this could be all new.
More evidence that they are looking in this direction for psp go. as for the laggy streaming, that is something that will improve as net connections improve, so it will mature with time.
did you read the article? the psp go has bluetooth, so it now has the capability to wirelessly work with a ps3 controller or bluetooth headset.
technically psp go is less powerful than a ps2, but it has the ability to stream games from a ps3 enabling you to play ps3 games on it (like on live!).
this is truly sickening. there is simply no excuse for it, no matter what the region. the ad depics a multinational business meeting. what, do you people actually think that polish business men never meet with black people? why then was it appropriate to leave the asian guy in there? this is worse than sony's psp ad, because though sony's ad was very tasteless (it's intention was not racist, but it's execution gave that impression), it wasn't as bad as this. in their ad, a person painted all ...
well, eyetoy and pseye could be supported better.
MC_COOL_K, There are ALREADY 3DTV's out there, they are just very expensive right now. By then not so much.
"Plus, I doubt a TV would cope with all that built into it, my screen (Samsung Series 5 LCD) heats up as it is, the screen wud probably melt with components more powerful than the current ones built into it."
This IS Sony we are talking about... The ones that can cram a 7 core chip, powerful GPU, large hard drive, ultra fast RAM, a blu-ray drive, wifi...
well, that would depend on if they use cell or not on the new system. if so, b/c would be easy to do. if not, probably not possible.
crazy I might be, but you gotta admit, it could work.
I can't stand wrestling games, but this had some compelling reasons to give it a shot.
Why not? After all, by the time we had touched 5 years with PS2, PS3 was already being shown to the public. We're sitting at year 3 now, so why not speculate on what we'll be seeing in another year or two? Well, that is, assuming Sony sticks to what they have done in the past. 10 year console cycles that overlap at year 5/6.
what, never heard of speculation before? it's called an editorial. they are these things that journalists write sometimes to express their opinions about various topics related to the topics they cover. and it's a far cry from some off the bullcrap that "journalists" try to pass off as an editorial around here. most editorials on n4g are the same damn formula over and over again. they all start with "why the X will/won't do Y" or "top X reasons the Y will do Z". ...
I personally believe that if they release a slim, it may have a similar design but will have natal built right into the console. it's cheaper that way. they don't have to make the plastic and such for a new casing, just incorporate it right into the design and also offer a separate unit for older units to upgrade. being that it is not like a wii sensor bar in the way it works, it would not have to be directly under the television. a simple calibration screen where you touch the four corners o...
I wouldn't call people stupid while misspelling words in the same sentence.
Also, just to clarify, Cpiasminc DID NOT post the bit in the beginning of our article that states that the ps2 emulator has been tested for over a year now and such.. that came from another inside source who remains unidentified (we have reported rumors from this source in the recent past that panned out to be true, however. check our page to see which ones). Once again, to spare the poor dude his job for...
