After seeing PS3 take half of a year's worth of sales for Xbox 360 and beat them out with one week of sales alone, it's no wonder FF13 is exclusive to PS3 in Japan.
but that hello doesn't reach our ears until after TGS due to glitches and lag. All we got was he-he-oo-l-ool-hell-oolh-he-hh h-hell, and even that came a half second after natal said it. By the time it got the full hello out, we had already packed up and gone home for the day. And then we heard word that it was actually a Microsoft representative speaking into a microphone that said hello, trying to make it look as if natal had finally got it right.
all the way to last place. yeah!
I never have. All exclusives from a third party are either paid for are simply are not possible on a rival system.
Of course it would, for a third party developer dealing with a worldwide situation, especially if the competitor is willing to pay for it, and the other competitor isn't willing to pay to keep it.
There isn't a territory on the planet where PS3 is outsold by Xbox 360 as badly as PS3 outsells Xbox 360 in Japan, so that argument doesn't even begin to hold water.
^what's with the hurr durrs? is it you are so retarded that you can't make a post without making a retard sound? anyway, let's inject a bit of intelligence into this discussion rather than picking at made up numbers and trying to use them to logically explain one's biased viewpoint.
"even if the ps3 sells software at a 3-1 ratio, 300K+100k is better than 300K by itself. "
Not when it's on a completely different system, so it has all of the costs associated ...
Very true, lol. Be it in a good or bad way, they always do come out the most talked about of the show.
I hope so, but we're remaining cautious for now until we hear more concrete info. We're not trying to stir any false hype.
I'll be hyped beyond description if a Legend of Dragoon sequel or remake is announced.
Microsoft isn't in the wrong for pointing out that their sales are indeed increasing. It's not their job to comment on what the other guys are doing, so for once they are actually doing a good thing and just talking about what they are doing themselves. If these companies would quit taking jabs at each other, and instead focus on what they are doing (like sony often says, "we don't worry about them"), they would probably sell a lot more consoles without flaming fanboy wars that make...
If you're only buying FPS games on 360 so you can chat with your friends, you need to wake up and realize we've been doing that since resistance on ps3. that, and a simple text message of "join my game, server:XXX" does the trick rather well. That said, PS3 does need an invite system that is universal. the cross game chat isn't as important to me, as I hate to be bothered while i'm in the middle of a game by some other fool who isn't even playing my game wanting me to quit the game ...
I'm pretty certain that this will not be a DQ game. This isn't SE teasing it. It's a badman sequel by the looks of it.
It isn't spreading rumors, it's taking a guess at what a teaser site is teasing. As we figured out more of what it was hinting at, we updated the article.
Turns out that what they had to say was valid... it is unlikely that Sony Japan would promote a Square Enix game in such a way.
Bear in mind we do not speak Japanese, so we were at the mercy of google translators. That, and I am not familiar with the Yuusha no Kuseni Namaikida franchise. Sorry for any confusion.
Figured I'd copy this from the report section since I've heard it in other places as well...
"The game is the 3rd installment of Yuusha no Kuseni Namaikida, or Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman.
Too bad nobody played the game cuz all the hints were obvious if you've played it. "
I am not familiar with the series, so I will not rule it out just yet. We are currently looking into what those hints are and how they relate to the games before we determine wh...
And possibly 3D as well!
Well, until you can afford a 3DTV that has a lens on each pixel that projects video from 9 different angles out of each pixel, glasses are as good as it gets. I personally don't see what the fuss about glasses is. It's no different than wearing a pair of sunglasses... and it's not like you're trying to look good while sitting on your fat ass watching TV in your living room.
And the 3D glasses I've seen used in the past worked just fine for people wearing glasses, they fit nicely...
sad thing is, every time they have fragmented the market, it has been with a superior product. In the case of beta, it didn't work out in the end. luckily blu-ray won out this time though.
Unfortunately, not obvious enough. One of the main complaints I still hear from people in game shops about PS3 is the "lost exclusives". It's from media outlets blowing ff13 and gta4 out of the water, when neither was ever really expected to be exclusive first. All Microsoft did, as in the case with DMC4, was delay the announcement of the game on their console until well after Sony announced their version, giving the mental image of lost exclusivity.
Sony on the other ...
