I only play racing games using motion controls if I can't find a wheel. The added sensitivity takes time to adjust to, but once you master it, it provides a clear advantage over using a thumbstick. Far more sensitivity and therefore accuracy. Wipeout especially, I can't even play that game without motion control.

I've bought over 30 of those games... and thoroughly enjoy playing almost all of them. Some experiences, such as RTS games, tower defense games, driving games (Driveclub, GT Sport), and aircraft combat games (Ace Combat 7), could never be done as well on a TV. I even prefer to play platformers in VR over 2D, as you can judge distance from one ledge to the next much easier. Even some FPS games like SuperHot are awesome and addictive.

I'm REALLY looking forward to upgraded move controller tracking, though!!! That is PSVR's biggest weakness... and that is something even us owners of the OG PSVR set can enjoy.

PS3 was a fantastic value at $600 when it launched, as you couldn't buy a BD player for under $1000 and it also came bundled with a kick ass console. However, we all saw how that turned out. It doesn't matter what value is given, if the cost sails north of $400, forget about it.
um, moldy, what about those of us that also "pass" on PSNow because streaming gaming isn't what we want? Also, you're basically defending developers overcharging for DLC content as a means of forcing people into a streaming model where they own nothing.
Much like PS3s were able to have their HDMI 1.3 ports upgraded to 1.4 to enable 3D, There is no hardware reason why VRR and dynamic HDR cannot be added to pro later, as they do not exceed the bandwdith available on HDMI 2.0 connections (this is evidenced by the fact that you can still use standard HDMI 2.0 or less cables to access VRR and Dynamic HDR on HDMI 2.1 devices, just not at resolutions above 4K).
Things are far different now than they were in the dawn of the HD era. All consoles and PCs use the same architecture now.
