Pretty sure he was referring to the XBO platform as a whole, not just XBO:X
Cell processor isn't easy to emulate, and since PS4's CPU isn't known for being super strong, I wouldn't bet on PS3 emulation.
3DS are not consoles nor are they current generation.
I doubt it's ESPN that cares, it's more likely the FCC.
These car manufacturers don't want you to realize that if you bump a supercar into a wall at 3mph it will do 2 million dollars worth of body damage.
I think it's mattered a good bit so far.
It's definitely the way to go for workstations, which is my PC's primary purpose. I still use Nvidia GPU though, as I've had issues with AMD drivers in the past.
You guys are misunderstanding the headline. Games don't run AT 4k60 on Pro and XBO:X because they both have weak CPUs for gaming consoles, and that creates a bottleneck. They cannot run ABOVE 4k60 because there currently aren't TVs on the market that accept input at above 60fps (though many will upscale that to higher frame rates, they all cap the actual input at 60).
That made about as much sense as the title of a JRPG.
"Angelic Default: Heroic Blaze Guilty Storm VS Xth"
If you look at the billions Xbox has lost since the first Xbox (when looking at Xbox as a brand, not as individual consoles, as you don't get to just wipe the slate clean when you launch new hardware), it still isn't profitable.
There are many gay men who have daughters, both who used to be straight and who fathered via a surrogate. So, that counter point does not hold up, SirBradders.
Any CG visual, even if you rendered it for weeks on farms of computers, is going to only fool you into thinking it is the real thing for so long. Video games manage to do it in spans of a few seconds, and only a select few ever reach that point. Movies can usually go in the tens of seconds before something looks off about it, and even then only a select few ever really achieve it. We're close, but even in pre-rendered visuals, we still have some room to grow.
It is true that most gamers, being poor professional drivers, will not want one wreck to end the race, but I would love to have that challenge as an option just like I'd like a challenge in a FPS of a bullet to the knee cap being nearly able to cripple me and also having to worry about bleeding out before I can reach a medic.
All Nintendo handhelds sell well, and it actually is pretty powerful for a handheld. That said, the past 2 systems launching with weak hardware and dying an early death once their gimmick wore off or flopping hard all together are proof that he is wrong. The fact that Sony reinvigorated their sales by releasing a more powerful update of their flagship console proves he is wrong.
Underrated as in they don't get the sales they deserve.
Exactly. I feel old saying it, but most modern gamers don't know what a hard game is. Back in my day *shakes cane* you got 3 lives and at best, 3 continues or you had to start the game all over. No saves, no infinite lives, no ducking in the corner until you have healed.
XBO:X can't even hit 60tps or native 4k in all games, so its power is nowhere near overkill. Its price is, though.
The Xbot's first reaction to any mention of Driveclub is that it runs at 30fps, ignoring that it is running on a console released in 2013 and there is no Pro patch for DC and never will be. Fact is, if Evolution were still around and they did make a DC Pro patch or a DC 2 built around PS4 Pro, and managed to get it running at 60fps, it would look hands down better than Forza 7, especially the weather effects and lighting. Forza 6 didn't even come close to looking anywhere near as good...
teebag, the weather effects are dynamic in DC, not "looped". That is just a myth created by fanboys in denial of just how much of a technical achievement the weather in DC really is. If you need proof, hit a turn at speed and watch every single raindrop on the windows react to the physics.
Same reason Slapping brought PC2 in? lol
GT is the most popular racing franchise on earth (77 million GT games sold to date), launching for the most popular console on earth (these aren't opinions, but facts based on sales). It will do just fine regardless of what PC2 does. Look at how well PC sold (2 million) against GT5 (12 million) or GT6 (5 million), and it was multiplatform!
