Giving away first party games won't do much without solving the problem of there being far too few first party games...
The main thing holding both .5 machines here is their CPU, not just the older systems they are meant to improve upon.

Sony really seems to be going all in on this "fad" that wouldn't last more than a few years, according to many. They have forged their own VR market while beating the other VR markets it doesn't even try to compete with along the way.
I'm just hoping it isn't "multiple days of QTEs". My only fear with this game...

Stealing is messed up no matter how you try to look at it. All you have to do is plug the thing in, install the games, put it in standby mode while connected to the net, and wait a few hours. Nothing else. It will download all the updates (PS4 at least) in the background while sleeping, and will be ready to go once the kid fires it up Christmas day. Might have to wait 3-5 minutes while those updates install, but not much hassle there.
I thought the jazzy Christmas music the last time I signed on was a nice touch. I have always loved GT's elegant style. To see them supporting it with all kinds of free content makes me smile.

I just named as many exclusive games as you did, except, the difference is, all of those games I named came out THIS YEAR, and it wasn't even close to all of them.
@bigwan the halo franchise is 6 years and 3 games older... so you can't make a direct comparison to uncharted (not to mention, there are many more games in the halo franchise than Uncharted).
There's a big difference between cracking your phone's security (thus enabling anyone else to do the same) so the FBI can unlock a phone and turning over unencrypted voice/video communications recorded on a game console. Furthermore, the FBI had a warrant for this information, there was no legal way Sony could say no to the request.
