You just named almost every exclusive it has in one line. Try to do that with PS4... Then realize how stupid you sound calling people pea brains while defending such a weak point.

Nintendo didn't "own" anything. They did very well, but Sony sold the most consoles of all by a large margin. That very well could change in 2018, though, if Nintendo keeps this pace of growth up.

PSVR is fantastic, but not perfect. Next revision should be far better. We already have lag free wireless VR on PC, and better motion controls, so I expect the next PSVR to be wireless with far better motion tracking and at least a half-4K screen.

As it is now, it takes too long to set up out of the box to make it easy to bring to friends' houses and such. It's best when left in one spot. The lack of 2 player support also sucks, I expect PS5 to allow that sort of s...

Doom VFR really surprised me how much like the original experience it is once you get used to the control scheme. I never could get into Skyrim, but my friends that love the game... I can't get them to stop playing it. We're all hyped for Wipeout next month.

This could be really good... I like the concept of N letting third party devs, especially the more popular ones, make their games. They have amazing talent, and could breathe new life into old franchises. I'm sure N will be over their shoulders the entire time to ensure it still keeps the Nintendo feel.

PUBG is exclusive, and it runs at 15-20fps... GPU isn't everything.

That said, nobody can pretend this isn't the most powerful console ever made. Accept it for what it is, and what it isn't.

VR is hardly flopping. More and more people are getting into it, and it is moving millions upon millions of units. As it continues to refine itself, especially once it goes full wireless, it will catch on. It isn't like 3DTV or motion control where there was a limit to how good it can get... VR can be iterated upon many times until it is much more convenient to use than the experience we have today. It will still be its own genre, many 2D game styles still won't work as good, but even...

When companies actually do well in sales, they provide numbers to back the claim.

Dolby is known for charging ridiculously high licensing fees.

Yeah, the sales could definitely be better, but you're acting like a fool, Kakoa. What are you, 12? You're showing the maturity of a pre-teen, that's for sure. Maybe you could use more time actually playing games rather than hating on other people's choices.

We're right back to where we started with Xbox and PS2... slightly more powerful, but nowhere near as good of a game selection. Also tens of millions behind in sales.

If this continues, EA might get their Star Wars rights yanked out from underneath them... and I can promise you EVERY major dev/publisher out there other than EA is going to be standing at Disney's doorstep with a suitcase full of cash if that happens.

KEEP MAKING NOISE. It's working.

Even without the "it gives a console its identity" concept, if you remove exclusives, it waters down the games so they can all run on all consoles, no longer will you see devs pushing a console to its absolute limits, because they'd have to cater to the lowest common denominator and make the game able to run on all hardware.

You know a system's exclusive game is weak when their sites start calling for an end to exclusives...

Butthurt fanboys thinking I was talking bad about their precious console when I was actually mocking the game itself. Even in 4K HDR, you can't polish a turd.

You are a microtransaction that got away. Go back to EA!

The Xbox One X version utilizes the larger pool of RAM and higher bandwidth for faster processing of microtransactions. Now you can level up ULTRA FAST, featuring a native 4K storefront with 16x anti-aliasing, high dynamic range loot crates and a rock solid, $60 per second, even during peak hours. It wasn't easy to achieve this pay rate, but developers worked closely with publisher Electronic Arts to ensure that the technology needed to pull this amazing feat off was within reach. With th...

far better games, more of them, $100 cheaper, and has been out for a year so there are far more games that offer support for the enhancements.

It isn't just a 40% GPU boost, but also more and higher bandwidth RAM as well as a higher CPU clock. You can't focus on one part of the system getting an upgrade and say it alone is responsible for performance gains, while ignoring the rest of the system.

Significantly less aliasing on the Xbox One X version, though I also notice it seems to have much less depth of field bokeh effects going on in the backgrounds, the Pro version seems to be using a wider aperture on the virtual camera so the backgrounds blur out more when there is a close foreground object that is in focus.
