This article is focusing too much on just one (smartwatch) aspect, and an extremely small aspect of a brand new market. No one knows what Nintendo plans to do with the QoL market. Now if Nintendo comes out with smartwatch, then sure, they have some major competition in Google and Apple. However if they don't, and they come out with something unique and innovative that appeals to that market, then who knows. It just extremely premature to come out with an article (a lousy doom & g...

It is a gimmick, but that doesn't mean it won't revolutionize the industry. Many, many, inventions were considered gimmicks; windshield wipers, touch screens, and even video games. What you don't want is a gimmick turning into a fad, much like 3D TVs, motion controls, or platform shoes...

I don't understand the whole point of this argument? Is this saying that because Nintendo gives reviewers an incentive they HAVE to give Nintendo games an 8 or higher? Has there been a recent Nintendo game that hasn't deserved a good score? Keeping the game is just an incentive not a pay out. I'm not saying it shouldn't raise some eye brows due to this practice, but if ethical reviewers are persuaded to give good reviews because a game is given to you for free... then shou...

The instances have been few and far between for the PSN. The biggest issue I've seen is that the PSN is hosted internally, at least it was, I'm not sure if they are going to migrate everything to what Gaikai has/had with RackSpace. Sony media is hosted with a very large 3rd party off-site, they don't have nearly the amount issues the PSN has had, down-time, updates, and of course... hacking. If the PSN moves to a dedicated hosting company, odds are most these minor downtime mom...

It is true that the PS4 needs some Japanese appealing games, we also have to consider this console has only been out a month, so let's not go all doom and gloom. That being said, mobile gaming is a beast in Japan and to sit back say it doesn't have an influence over sales is being blind to the gaming trend over there.

I like both UI's for PS4 and Xbx1. Though there are definite improvements both can make. I don't how to explain it but Xbx1's is very... busy... and not as responsive as I'd like. PS4 is very smooth and responsive but I'm not a huge fan of having all the games in that one crossbar, I'm hoping they'll switch it to how they have a tv section setup for a "games" drop down.

An anti-doom and gloom article? Odd...

It's all about profits... and it's not like the big 3 are making much money off their newly touted systems these days.

I really hope SouthPark continues to sell well, I really would like a sequel or something. This game is just brilliantly presented and fun.

First off what does "play the controller" even mean? The controller scheme can always be improved, if console makers stick to the same layout or even just the same controller itself. Without change you don't have the 4 button layout, the trigger buttons, analogue sticks, rumble, touch pad, share button, I could go on but you get the point. You sound like a bitter old man not wanting change...

Also as a basketball former basketball, we love the feel and touch of...

I understand games have grown leaps and bounds in complexity since the dawning of the internet connected console became common and I would not dare assume a developer is being lazy when shipping a game out that might have bugs. I’m simply saying that the internet connection gives developers a hell of a lot more freedom to do more, knowing they can fix it later. Is that always the right approach? No, but it also gives us as the consumer a little bit of ease of mind knowing they can fix, imp...

Thank god for the internet... can't imagine what some of these games would play like without the ability to patch. I'm not directly referring to whatever the Infamous patch will do sense I have no idea, but games like BF4, Skyrim, and countless others that needed patches in order to even make parts of the game playable... again very thankful for the internet.

It will happen and there "should" be a response. But you're right, it's not like a little fanboyism doesn't creep into what most of the "journalist" write up in these reviews. I guess if it passes the eye test and you're fan just go buy the game.

We're talking about graphics not neccessarily computing power adding in extra characters/enemies and better AI. Those two are also very important from generation to generation, but now you can have very complex 16 bit graphic like games with better AI and newer gameplay elements.

Graphics have always been an argument for which platform or game (typically a multiplat) is better. This is not exactly a new argument, SNES and Genesis had their fair share of graphic capabilites, then with the N64 vs PSX, and so on. Does it make a game more fun... no but it can help a gamer feel more immersed in an scifi-world or great story.

Ok... is that a bad thing? It seems like people like it and got pretty good reviews, so maybe just maybe the hype was justified?

There are definitely some of them and they try but many of those articles doesn't get approved like these xbox/nintendo failing ones often do.

I had to trade it in. Between the lag, some of framerate drops, and the controller throwing deleting of the SP campaign (about 5x) I just couldn't take it anymore. I got a better game in South Park for it.

While you're entitled to your opinion, how does online action when both are online games? Also while BF4 (at least on the PS4) at a ton of patches the smoother was not always the case. I believe TitanFall will get a its fair share of patches to help. BF4 was an absolute mess when it lauched.
