People like you are just to few (especially here). I hope for the day we argue about the quality of a game vs the console the game plays on. People go out of their way to bash a TitanFall or Last of Us becuase of which little black box plays it, not whether they are actually fun and/or entertaining. Platinum would definitely do a good job with StarFox. It just seems curious they would say they would love to do another Metroid after annoucing that they are already hard work on their next game... Yes look at the tablet market for example, the Ipad by all accounts should be destroying the Android Tablet market (and it did in the begining). Not at all, if said gamer has bought or is only interested in say a Nintendo or Microsoft 1st party excluses the relevance of Sony 1st party exclusives propbably not matter at all. It's been almost a generation since 3rd party delevopers have pulled games out to be mutually exclusive to the highest seller. Outside personally finacing 3rd party titles to become exclusive or just buying companies up outright, outside is going extinct. You're assuming the intent to buy based on sales....
Are you saying Titanfall won't move any consoles what-so-ever when bundled for free? Software drives console sales and profits for both companies and since both consoles are being sold at a loss, both need software to make any money.
@neoandrew I'm not saying Microsoft's cloud deal is going to work as fluidly as they say, but how can say Sony's is going to be better? Look up Gartner reviews on RackSpace (who Sony uses) and Miscrosoft Azsure and rethink that statement.

Really only time will tell. I don't think its fair to really judge any of the new systems just yet on what they can produce. The Wii U is not as powerful as the PS4 or Xbx1 but can it show it can keep a close relevance or will the two more powerful guys pull away. Only time will tell.
