Joystiq is truthfully the only website's reviews I take seriously.

@Utalkin2me ummm yeah you're actually on a couple of Titanfall Xbox articles commenting... so wouldn't go as far as to you don't. Never said fanboy and troll were the same thing, though it's a slippery slope.

lol well yeah, this site is very definition of a fanboy club. But none the less, I enjoyed Infamous 1, and I'm starving for a new game on the PS4 so I will definitely be picking this up tomorrow.

So if we look at your comment history would be able to conclude that your a Sony fanboy then right?

This title is extremely misleading, but then again the title and this website kind of go hand-in-hand. With that being said, this poll is typically skewed towards "tech savy." If Microsoft wins over AT&T... that is truely and upset.

@Cryptcuzz well right of course... but it seemed Utalkin2me seemingly skipped over a that generation to make a hallow point.

I would be both happy and shocked if it retailed at price point.

4464d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

So then what would you say for the PS2 vs the original Xbox?

4464d ago 1 agree7 disagreeView comment

That makes, no sense... so because they have a power brick their hypothetical VR system is going to be huge as well? That parallel doesn't really work.

Kind of hard to compare a mostly software company to a mostly hardware company, but xbox live service vs the beginning PS network was better.

@Kingnichedrix I haven't played the retail verison of TitanFall yet, enjoyed the beta though. I think people are so used to have a single player campaign, that when games are coming without them, they feel the full price tag unjust, even though we, in reality might spend 3 to 5 times longer playing the MP portion regardless. They obviously have to work on fleshing out a MP game only to give a user a full entertaining experience, just as they would single player only game. I want the ga...

You also have to consider the added and somewhat optional accessory to the Morpheus in the Playstation eye. I believe the Playstation move is built into the DS4, so your good there. I just see this coming out and being as expensive as the PS4 itself.

4464d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

@Kingnichendrix if the experience of the game wasn't worth the cost, that's understandable and almost universal. A game like Banished is $20 with essentially the same elements of the $50 SimCity (when it was released). Barring the online crap EA pulled with Simcity, both the costs of Simcity and Banished, to me were the same in terms of enjoyment. Now if I purchased Skyrim (and I'm only using this as an example, because I loved that game) and didn't find the game fun, then ...

I don't know... $350 seems pretty expensive to me that would an accessory to the way I play video games. I'm sure the price will go down, but personally I'd rather spend the money on a bigger tv. I'd be interested to see what the Morpheus will cost, I can't imagine it will be less than $300 anytime soon.

@ThePope completely agree. I don't understand the whole it doesn't have a single player campiagn there for it's not worth the $60 price tag. There are plenty of single player only games that you may or may not get 10-15hrs of gameplay... are they worth $60? Obviously it depends on the experience of the gamer... if ToLU was only single player and it took I think 20hrs-ish to complete, it was completely worth the $60 to me. Titanfall you may get 50-60hrs of mp in... a lot of peo...

The problem won't come from the "want" to have it factor, but how will the majority react to using a VR headset. There are lot of people who suffer from headaches and major nausea from just 3D... partly a reason behind why that medium never took off. VR will pose similar problems. It's a great idea, but it definitely has a uphill battle for "mainstream" acceptance.

4464d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

The problem is the lower the frame rate, the higher the nausea factor. It would be better for people to just turn off the 3D feature and play a game standard... assuming it is pushing about 30fps.

4464d ago 2 agree2 disagreeView comment

I also want to see how this, the Oculus Rift, and whatever Microsoft is doing to tackle the nausea symptoms that is most associated with VR and 3D. If games struggle with frame rate, nausea can and will be a real issue as it was with the adoption of 3D. If it's still an issue then that cuts out a large population of people would be interested in trying VR gaming and applications.

I need to something especially designed for the VR before I really get excited. I don't want to see this technology treated as an "add-on" or see games that just use it like remote play for the vita but take the technology to heart and do something creative and inventive with it.

Lol nice. @christian hour demos are technically free, your paying for the magazine and disc itself not the content, games demos are promotional marketing.
