It such a bottleneck here in the states. The average household has an internet speed of 10mbps... which is just terrible. Considering it's a shared line, you're luckey to get 5mbps download at any point of the day. It's just going to hold back so many great offerings and innovations for gaming here; Playstation Now, Whatever Cloud offerings Microsoft has, any downloads/MP gaming. We really need to get our act together here.

It's a very strict business move to not include BC. It essentially ends the need for people to purchase any PS3s or Xbox360s outside of prices. For the Nintendo it made sense as Wii sales had dropped a considerable amount during the release Wii U.

That's right, that's how real gamers, game.

Yeah me too, apparently Gamestop will give you close to $40 with the 40% coupon trade-in value. I'll be using that towards Mario Kart.

I hope it's a sandbox type of world, like Mario 64 or Sunshine. But who knows... I'll be upset if it's another 2d Mario... I think they need to let that rest for awhile.

"Microsoft and Sony know, as Nintendo and Sega did before them, the only thing will truly separate their consoles from the each other is software." I think it's too easy to lose sight that these machines are just boxes, if the developers don't take advantage of each system uniquness outside of just graphically fidelity, then we all lose. That's what made the Genesis and SNES era so epic, the games between the two some of the most iconic and innovative games of all time...

With Deep Down gives me pause to say Dino Crisis would not be 100% ported over to the xbox, but Dino Crisis is a pretty popular title and do well in to the Western audiences too.

Unless paid for Dino Crisis would more than likely make it to the Xbox. I mean if Kingdom Hearts III, of all games, is making itself to the Xbox, then I can say with high amount of confidence that the Dino Crisis would be ported.

It's development of the game itself and how it's planned. I wouldn't neccessarily say it's laziness as it from publishers saying to the devs,"we need as many people playing/buying this game as possible without the reputation that it's too hard." You'd be a fool to think the causals haven't dipped into the so-called core or hard-core game market based on brand cognition, I mean they see a GTA or CoD and say, "Hey why not me too?" It's just ...

I'm honestly only finding challenges in indie games lately (outside of the Dark Souls series). The recent AAA games; I platinum Infamous SS in a week and half, SouthPark took I think 10hrs to beat, I beat Arkham Origins dying only twice, GTA V was a breeze to play through (mostly because it lets you start closer to missions when you die). I’m definitely not bragging as a ton of people have accomplished the same feat. I get accessibility is key to these "larger" games to reach...

lol love it... though I wouldn't just say minority, but down-right outcast here not playing on "those" systems.

I really hope they figure a good business model for this. I'm not sure the Netflix "model" would work in this case, as they make time licensing deals to hold content for 6 months to a year. Not sure if that will work with gamers. I suspect that you'll obviously have a lot 1st party content and older content available pretty readily and quickly, however, I do see some of the bigger publishers, EA, Activision, and Ubisoft, being very hesitant with out some incentives. Eith...

So a rumour of a friend of a guy on a youtube video... which if you can follow along with what he's doing, good for you... is having technical issues with xbox one there for DRM has been re-instated? Come on man, if this was really true, the entire internet gaming world would explode.

I think I played this game for about month straight when it went free on PS+... that music... that damn music so freaking catchy. Great game, can't wait for the sequel.

How many of these articles are going to get? I'm all for a good conspiracy theory... but this is starting to get to the level of the ridiculous "Microsoft selling Xbox" or "Nintendo is going 3rd party" articles/rumors.

It's just a common belief on this site and to those who read only negative Wii U blogs. @windblowsagain sort of contradicted himself by saying it's the same power level yet has more ram? whatever...

April fools?... no wait that doesn't work either...

There are only two important these games could/should ever be compared to each in... sales and their importance to their console. That's it, two extremely different games, experiences, ect. You really can't compare the two on any other level.

I don't know why I bother but please read the article where they state specially "In Multiplayer mode, however, we use a technique called ‘temporal reprojection,’ which combines pixels and motion vectors from multiple lower-resolution frames to reconstruct a full 1080p image. If native means that every part of the pipeline is 1080p then this technique is not native". Look I don't care, I don't care if a game is 4k, 5k 320p whatever... and the fact that this was over blow...
