Can’t wait to get this in my hands! I can imagine the new box smell now lol
Not if games are releasing 3 years down the line on PC. Most folks like keeping up with the newest games. Those will be on PS5. Don’t quite see how that makes PS5 “pointless”...
Sony for the win. Successful console business and sales smashing PC ports
Don’t know that we have enough sales data to determine how successful yet, but I feel this move bolsters Sony’s brand and pocket book well enough to justify the ports they’re making. As long as their consoles continue to get the big 1st party games years before any PC port, then PS5 will continue to sell, larger profits will be made on games due to PC releases, and with a little patience PC gamers get the definitive editions of amazing Sony titles. Wins all around how i see this strategy.......
I think that’s what dude meant. Great experience enjoyed in the highest available visual specs = maximum enjoyment
Sony is about to show the industry how to make an actual assassin game with Ghost of Tsushima. Can’t wait! Take notes Ubi!
I’m not going to use a $1200 graphic card to run 1080p@60. RT can kiss my @ss. It’s nice and all, but not at the cost of frame rate and resolution performances. It’s a big deal, but RT needs efficiency before we should expect or want this feature baked into every game.
Shadow Warrior 3 looks more than ready to scratch that Duke Nukem itch I’ve had for zany 1st person shooter fun!
If it plays on a phone I refuse to play it. Simple as that.
This game looks epic in a Wallace and Gromit/Shawn the Sheep kinda way. The art style alone screams personality! I can’t wait to play this one, very excited.
Bloodborne, Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Twisted Metal, Warhawk, Socom, Killzone, Syphon Filter, Battle Arena Toshinden lol, just to name a few.
WHY!? Still killing time and resources not giving us a new Elder Scrolls, another quick cash grab, ...I see you Bethesda
Helluvan experience
Not ditching,..3rd party support for 100+ million isn’t going anywhere, PS Plus free games continue to add value, PS Now is already the better “gamepass” that no one talks about which will get even better once next-gen launches, add in likely console price drops and some big cross-gen titles to still be announced. PS4 owners will assuredly still be taken care of for a good bit longer
Not necessarily less detail, shorter quality experiences. Instead of 40-60+ hour games, Shawn Layden mentioned having more 12-25hr games w/ high replayability but with shorter development periods of 3-4yrs max instead of 5-6 year periods. That way we’d get more games out during the generations. I happen to agree with him, I get exhausted playing one game for 100s of hrs. I like the variety and if the game is good I’ll play it many times over still!
I don’t mind the price adjustment, but now is the time to scrutinize our purchases more than ever. If I think a game deserves that kind of investment I’ll spend it, if I know it has MTs or lots of DLC coming then I’ll wait for complete editions or steep sales. Nobody is forcing us to go and spend day 1 prices or to purchase every single game. Gaming is a hobby not a utility, no since in being entitled on the price of art. IMO of course. Also, inflation is a real thing, and I happen to enjoy ...
Best comment lol
Man,....come to think of it I’d love to see any of the following next-gen announcements: Kung Fu Chaos, Bloodwake, Rallysport Challenge, Crimson Skies, a Brute Force reboot, Jade Empire sequel, Blinx or Conker reboot, a Kameo sequel, a Tenchu or Ninja Gaiden, Banjo Kazooie remake/reboot, a New Killer Instict or Virtua Fighter and Fable game would all be very welcome additions to the Xbox roster. I can’t say I’m too interested in the perfect dark game I keep hearing about, much rather see this...
Phycho Mantis MGS1 on PS1, thought my controllers were crapping out on me! Haha
Demon Souls, Bloodborne Remaster, R&C, GT7, and Spider-Man: MM would keep my jaw sufficiently on the floor through til Horizon sequel hits in 2021. I’d also love a surprise like a Socom/Syphon Filter/ or Warhawk reboot in the works. Either way, great times await...
