Don’t know if would want to be in the spotlight right now for what they showed lol
One of my top 10 games most deserving of a proper sequel. Loved me some sleeping dogs!
How did that showcase of CGI trailers “prove” anything except that cut-scenes still look great?
Don’t know why they rush to come out at the same time anymore. Nintendo has proven with an identity of your own, a company can launch a successful game console away from its other largest competitors and still do well to gain market share. If Xbox has a unique games line-up, services, and features that distinguish it from the pack, there’s no reason it couldn’t succeed launching on its own. Personally, I’d rather see them delay a few months and be ready at launch, then to see them come out th...
We get it, the whole show was run on a PC! Nothing weird at all about not demonstrating the power of the new console at the “console demonstration”!? What the hell is Phil doing? They’ve officially over-hyped beyond expectations that can be reasonably met IMO Could be another rough gen for team Xbox but they won’t report bad sales again, and will spin gamepass game downloads as sales. we’ll never know what games are truly profitable for them again lol
God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Last of Us 2, Days Gone, and Bloodborne would all like to stake claim in that best space for “mature-gamers” talk. Don’t think those games are for the kiddos. I think we already know where to get our dose of mature games, thanks. Not that more titles of this quality aren’t welcome, but let’s wait til we see a handful before we say MS is truly competing in this space again properly yet.
PlayStation 5 day 1 was never a doubt in my mind, provided I can get my hands on one this Holiday. It was MS I was waiting on to prove something, but I think Xbox’ “next gen” all together might need a little more time in the oven if you ask me. If Halo:Infinite isn’t ready for launch, backlogs and gamepass alone won’t be reason enough to pick one up IMO. An unfinished Halo at launch isn’t something I want to think about either. Maybe I’ll get a SeriesX down the road eventually once I see all ...
Don’t even go there, if that was the case we would’ve heard the uproar already. By fans of both platforms. I love Sony games, but I’d call one out if I thought it looked like dogsh$t. Instead, this article is only dropping because Xbox’ new flagship Halo game was shown recently and it came out looking flat, and dated.
If you had super low expectations sure. I thought all that money over at MS could somehow eventually polish that turd of a 1st party library up into something Iconic of its own again, but instead looks like they’re gonna need to throw more money on that fire to get their act right, based on what we’ve seen so far, which wasn’t much. Buy SeriesX day 1 and wait 2-3 years to get games that look like they belong on it was what I took away...
He’s a vengeful samurai during the Mongolian invasion, not Jacky Chan from drunken master. Lol. What gives? I never expected Jin to be “laughing it up” or be super bright and cheery at any point, THAT would have been more out of character given the context of the game IMO
Totally agreed! So far MS is just a bunch of talk about services, showed up to their own show without a) games running on the actual platform, and b) to tell us we won’t have any of what they showed except Halo ready anytime soon. Lol
Of course they are, MS is pushing brute power and services, instead of TLC for making AAA-tier quality games and helping to push the medium forward. And they will continue to play 2nd fiddle to Sony until they figure that part out. You have to support your console/ecosystem and MS still doesn’t look prepared or inclined to do that, current gen or next gen IMO.
Wow, someone really doesn’t care for PlayStation to give this a 5. While not a flawless game, I couldn’t disagree further with overall assessment of quality of content here.
First off, Sony already has it’s gamepass, PS Now - which I’d argue has the better offerings. But more importantly, and lucky for us game fans, Sony isn’t content or complacent only trying to build and bloat their services, Sony rather still enjoys, thrives, and pushes gaming boundaries and takes risks building a diverse library of extremely quality experiences that continue to enthrall us. Not easy to replicate evidently.
This was my largest complaint, it looked bland, empty-ish, and uninspired. Could’ve been copy and pasted straight from the original and it showed. Definitely unworthy of the “power of 12TF” lol
World wide fans of apple...but, they must not be known for amazing products. You funny
Yea, no need to upgrade parts yet for what we just saw
No kidding! Missed the mark and coming in guns cold for that show, I’d say! No 1st party gameplay trailers besides a current-gen Halo. What have they been doing all this time!?
It didn’t look bad, just another in-engine trailer that doesn’t show us the actual product. I’m sure it’ll be beautiful as always, but gameplay footage and/or a release window would have gone a great distance further for fans
Hope Ubisoft took notes, AC games could be this good if they had engaging combat controls and a followable and engaging Story to tell.
