Looks fantastic! I hope they keep the ports coming. Not day 1 like gamepass/Xbox. But once their money has been made on console why not port a year or 2 down the road, bring in more revenue and fans to their IPs and ecosystem. Plus I’m super excited about the possible Bloodborne port in the works!! Bring it Sony, my wallet is ready to double dip! Haha
Lol. Desperate articles these days, nothing new but man, some folks really be reaching to make a point
Sends chills, “Sony’s secret studio(s)”!!!
Love the 2D Kung Fu Panda art style, gameplay looks good as well. Too bad this is made by Tencent though. Bunch of wallet-fishers
I could see a real shift in interest in Xbox again if we were to see MS take some BIG fun risks and were to see them make real new next-gen versions of older games like Fusion Frenzy, Kung Fu Chaos, Bloodwake, Rallysport Challenge, Crimson Skies, a Brute Force reboot, Jade Empire sequel, Blinx reboot, Conker reboot, a Kameo sequel, a Tenchu or Ninja Gaiden, Banjo Kazooie remake/reboot, a New Killer Instict or Virtua Fighter. MS owns some cool IP, it’s always a matter of how that material gets...
I remember Kameo as the best launch game for the 360! Really cool game.
I’m hoping for much more than Halo, Forza, and Gears, that’s for damn sure! I hope the Fable rumors are true, I’m also hoping for a new IP or something other than Perfect Dark from new dev team The Initiative, and further new IPs from several of the other newly acquired teams. No more time for holding back cards for MS with Xbox this gen.
It is truth to me, based on my preferences and having not liked many prior “masterpieces”
15-25hrs of high quality content is the sweet spot for game length for me and my workload/attention span. Plus we’d get more games with 4 years max or less of development time instead of 10 years between GTA, Elder Scroll, and ND games. They’re epic but waiting for them to come out once a gen or every other gen sucks!
Show a shit ton of NEW stuff. No more Halo, Gears, Forza being the biggest highlights. They’re great still, but it’s time to let some fresh, well funded, AAA first party IPs fly! Give me more BIG reasons to own a series X and not just keep playing one my OneX.
This is true, I tried but couldn’t stand Witcher 3, Elder Scrolls games, BOTW, and all final fantasy games. I know I’m missing some gems, I just can’t get into them personally, and I hope that’s ok. These are my preferences
Haha hahaha hahahaha aaa aaaaa...f$ckin Activision. Wooo, gotta milk all the kids on the playground huh!?...hahaha..
If you finished the game, you loved it. If you stopped playing 5-10hrs in and put it down, you missed a strong finish in mechanics and story you didn’t see coming. Top 5 of this gen SO far, we have another likely masterpiece dropping mid July. They keep on coming haha
I’m wondering if his next project will be multi-plat or another timed PS console exclusive?
So is your mom!
It’s called emphacism jambo, just helps get my personal point across. Harmless CAPS...
Wish ANY of the Elder Scroll games had gratifying combat. All the texture packs in the world can’t make those games FUN or at least less wonky when it comes to fighting mechanics...Yet Fable, Reckoning: Kingdom of Amalur, and Dragons Dogma all managed fun combat in their RPGs. Bring on the next edition already I say...
Placing my bet that Xbox announces partnership with Facebook oculus for the upcoming generation now that they have the streaming partnership already in place. Synergy advertisement really?
-Xbox needs to fill the VR void in their gaming offerings this next gen
-Facebook needs a reason for gamers to pay attention to them, better outlooks having the Xbox PR team out there pushing Oculus over Zuckerberg’s shady-ass
Sure, but until you have elite level dev teams pumping out exclusives, what difference will the 2 TF difference really make. Minimal differences between onex and pro now, except for quality of games which again, tips its hat at Sony - the weaker console currently.
More Halo, Forza, gears, halo, Forza, Gears and on and on
Because I don’t want my favorite games company turning into a subscription based 1st company. Sony makes interactive art, not never-ending annual cash grabs.
