Are they really masterpieces then if the combat sucked?
Far from a “Disaster”, opinion or not. Gameplay, graphics, and sound should have perfect scores which sits the game at 7.5 minimum for anyone who absolutely hated the story. Important part, but story is only one aspect of any game.
.....It’s gunna be fast :)
The Turtles deserve so much better, in budget and scope. So much material to explore, I wish they could get the “Sony Spider-man” treatment. They would easily be an instant hit franchise game-wise if treated properly
Subscription models suck! Don’t care if they do save me money, I expect this business model will yield more unfinished, multi-player, service based type games and smaller indie titles for Microsoft throughout this new gen. The AAA games we see there now are time-purchased to get us to buy-in now until MS 1st party studios start churning them out. I sure hope MS proves me wrong on the quality of their titles going to GP! Personally, I’d rather see MS have the confidence to sell their 1st party...
Let me guess, Series X to support Oculus VR next gen?
There goes our chance at The Order:1887! Damn!!
PSVR!
Agreed. $30-40 sounds right in my mind
Crash is going to need some great graphics and new mechanics to justify a new full priced $60 sequel. Hope to see him age well. I’d rather have seen him return as a Sony PSVR exclusive, that’d be crazy fun imo
3 generations of the same game. I think they’ve long been a sell out. Nothing new here,..literally
Wow, that’s right where this title sent my brain to. Lol!
Guaranteed the “campaign“ is just an extended tutorial lol, I hope not though. Rogue Squadron for GameCube back in the day was epic!
For me it’s not the subscription I have a problem with directly per se. It provides a great value to either ecosystem for sure. For me, I don’t want the “service” to become the more important money making aspect of my favorite companies, and it becomes less about the actual games we receive and more about weird metrics used to justify the games like “player engagement”. I don’t want more unfinished MP only service games(crackdown/sea of thieves/fort night/call of duty) coming out of a long-te...
Nah, just real reasons to buy a PS5. Practically all PS4 games will be compatible, if not play better on PS5. Xbox is missing a real incentive if you already own a good gaming PC or recently invested in a OneX. Upscaled OG Xbox one games is what will come from 1st party for awhile.
I’m ok with a $600 console being sold as a premium product for myself. A penny more than $550 though would likely badly hinder adoptions rates for either console though.
Mine is Demon Souls so far, I’m sure there is so much more to be announced though. More bombshells will drop at Sony’s next show to go along with the price and UI reveals. Can’t wait!!
Getting both and giving my PC a rest. I’m over paying top dollar for diminishing returns on pc, with CONSOLES like these out there! Very excited to early adopt and play til my eyes dry out lol
I’d be so happy with 1440p resolution. Most modern TVs upscale your picture to 4K anyway, then higher frames between 60-120fps would be easily reachable and become “the standard” with games still looking beautiful, ultra graphics settings attainable, AND have the reaction and feel of a new smoother generation. I will choose this performance “option” anytime it is available myself. Will use fidelity options for photo-mode lol!
You can afford a $300 new box but not a $300 4k tv these days?
