I don’t know about a 5, but this game still looks aged. After this long, it deserved a remake treatment similar to Dead Space. If a game is less than 7 or 8 years old a remaster is fine, but I’m tired of all these remasters that clearly need a remake to be anywhere near current quality.

If you have 20/20 vision OLED is absolutely not wasted at that size. Look at the switch OLED and the standard and tell me there’s no difference. That’s absurd. Better hdr and better resolution is always a plus on any size screen bigger than an Apple Watch

I would absolutely love to see that happen, but wouldn’t that decision be up to EA. So shouldn’t it be “don’t f*** this up EA”?

That’s what they get for trying to run a game console company without any quality exclusives or relevant mascots for the brand for an entire generation. Hell xbox did better in the games department last gen.

They confirmed no 1st party established big IPs. Concord is 1st party and still set to come this year and also there’s rumblings of a possible Astrobot game coming as well. Just no new Spider-Man, god of war, or Last of Us.

Who wrote this piece again,…Phil Spencer?

When it was literally already in Development for PS5 when Bethesda was bought and the PS version was canceled. Helldivers 2 has been funded by Sony the whole way and own the IP. Not quite apples to apples.

Good luck Ubi, nobody asked for a AAAA pirate game with zero melee, sword dueling or gun combat. It just sounds so far from pirating.

You playing all your beloved “Xbox” games on a PlayStation in the future is going to be entertaining. Haha

5 years to make an 8 hour game doesn’t sound great at all. This should have had a much more impressive scope than the 1st game considering the backing this time around.

Agreed. $10 for a 120fps mode and all new survival mode is a great value for existing owners. And I haven’t played this game since my PS4 pro days, so that’s a no brainer for me.

Can’t play quality games in their eco-system but they’ve got a fridge and toaster. Likely to see them selling items at pottery barn next I guess. No such thing as bad publicity in Phil’s mind. SMH.

I’d prefer they reboot the OG Battle Arena Toshindin from the ps1 era. I think that could really hit the right note if done properly

What exactly is there to cope with here? That a huge letdown of a game was covered by the media more than any of the actual game of the year contenders. How that is some kinda “win” in your mind just shows how much dedicated Xbox fans run on gaslight fumes. Lol…Cope with that 1st then come have a real conversation about games.

And yet the most violent Wolverine game we’ve ever gotten is on its way from Insomniac…somehow I think we Sony fans will manage.

Easy. Helldivers 2 looks like a blast to play with friends and it’s right around the corner

Yea, that or Richie Rich aka MS could just learn how to make a good game and stop subsidizing the industry with services over quality experiences…but that’ would be asking too much from the richest player on the board.

Or you could actually pay for a quality game, support the studio directly and help them make a sequel or fund their next project too…..but why support our hobby with our wallets when we have gamepass? Good call.

Paywalls in space.Hilarious if true! Maybe that’s what they should’ve called it.

You forgot the part where they lost the head of the company and Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami right after Hi-Fi Rush was released. That’s a lot of creativity and passion that left with him I’d imagine. Will be interesting to see how that affects the studio going forward.
