Already tried it out bud, I got 2 Xbox one X on sale, tried out the few games I wanted on GP and now I just use them for the 4K Blu ray player, otherwise I constantly find myself on PS or PC even to play better versions of everything but Ori and Masterchief. How is MS games coming to PC an excuse by fans!? If I already have a home PC (2 actually) that will run games As good, if not better than the new Series X, how does this sell me on buying one or more of a system I don’t need to play their games. Sony on the other hand, I still REQUIRE their console to enjoy the latest in digital entertainment software. Interesting to see the glitches found in games, but giving credit as a way of playing/beating a game “faster” than everybody else this way is lame IMO. I got my ass kicked on Hurt-me-plenty mode and actually earned my ending, head on. Going back for nightmare mode soon. Very gratifying. Code Veronica remake could be epic. Edit some of the cheese, update the puzzles and atmosphere naturally, keep the epic boss battles. This one could be done better than the original if given then budget, some TLC, and enough time in the oven
Looks like a poor man’s Darksiders, or something made in Dreams, which would then be totally acceptable. As a PS5 or SX game...please. That platforming looks like it comes straight outta early 3D N64 games. And nothing like big bright HP bars that scream “Next Gen“. As an unpublished creation I have no problems, as something I’m supposed to pay for eventually...well they might be kidding themselves IMO

I’m sure game file sizes will be optimized well for PS5, so I’m not too worried about the internal 825GB. Also, having more control over what you download and moving files between old external drives will never be easier. I do wonder if Sony will have a proprietary SSD I can purchase like series X to expand internal memory at some point or just 3rd party approved/certified M.2 sticks only🤔🤷🏼 ;♂️
Glad everyone is staying safe - but yea, if this is coming out alongside the new console MS can’t afford to fumble the ball with this one. That would be a launch fiasco. Outside of an unconfirmed new Fable this is literally the main game early adopters will be anticipating to showcase their new purchase. My fingers and toes are crossed for amazing and FINISHED new games!
Not a threat to dethrone Sony within one gen, but plenty enough to enjoy success within the “same” competitive space(s) and rebuild the brand if their hearts, wallets, and new studios are up to the task. I hope so, I love quality games! I will buy both new consoles, I will root for them both, but I do know what I’m getting into each time with Sony 1st party studios on top of the blockbusters I have to play most. Stronger lineup than the current gen Xbox One lineup had for sure, I'd hope so with all the studio acquisitions and investment, but we don't know yet that it will have the stronger launch titles over Sony. Might be, but not everyone is looking for ANOTHER subscription service, full of a bunch of indies titles. “Service” gaming provide publishers every reason they need to release unfinished products that can always be patched later. Being into campaigns, I like super finished, well optimized games.
