Frankly very few could tell image fidelity differences when viewing at couch distances. So ultimately it comes down to games library, track record, and who do you trust. To date, Sony has been far superior with creative studios producing amazing games. Temporary pixel count superiority for X1X is not enough to sway from the vastly superior library. I also own a Pro and an X. As much as I like them both, I will surely be getting RDR2 for the Pro. Image fidelity on both consoles is very good on the Sony 900E television. But the games library on the Pro is just so far superior I generally game there. I can't just walk away from Sony who has encouraged their 1st & 2nd party studios to take risks and create amazing games. Maybe MS will allow new studios they acquired to spread their wings some.
Why would it be dire for Bethesda without cross plat play between PS and X1? Other MP games don't have cross plat play and they are all doing fine. I don't care whether there is or is not cross plat play between the two systems. When Bethesda started making FO76 & ESL some years ago they knew full well at that time there was no cross platform play. Suddenly it's integral to their game design? I doubt it. I own both a Pro and an X. But with the exclusive PS content, I will go for Pro. I imagine it'll play great on both. But for eventual MP, most ppl I know are playing on PS so I'll stick with Sony this time. But frankly to my XBox friends, have a blast. It'll be a fantastic game wherever played.
I think they will have a very strong SP game. But I also think the MP will be fun. It was in the first RDR.
Same for me. I cannot respect Greg at all. KF would have been better off with Colin. If they were going to get rid of a personality it should have been Tim Getty's. He adds nothing of significance to the business. So instead I watch and enjoy Colin's new YT channels.

It is noteworthy that the title of the article contains the words "So Glitchy". That surely aligns with your opinion that it is a matter of quantity and severity of the 'glitch'. Game breaking or immersion breaking bugs can be quite numerous in some released games. We've been conditioned early on through earlier days of MS DOS and Windows to needing press Ctrl-Alt-Delete as acceptable conditions of a product. Just save your money for a while and buy the console outright. Why would anyone fall for such nonsense? It's like renting furniture and tv's and such. You're going to overpay big time. People should be patient and just save.

Zero chance on pre-order. I will wait and see after release. EA credibility is pretty low in my book. Better to see what the game is about, how it plays, and monetization practices in use before getting swindled again.

Azure in every other city? Please. That is definitely not the case. Sony can just buy cloud service from many providers if need be too. Whether that be AWS, Google, or others. People so desperate for MS to be crowned king of gaming when they have failed gamers for years. I cannot and will not trust MS with my gaming money at this time. They fail far too frequently.
How could OP know MS has the services in place? Insider? Doubtful. Just because Azure exists as a cloud service doesn't mean you have everything in place. This is just wishful thinking that somehow MS will run away with the next gen. That is highly suspect. MS Achilles heel is still their lack of creativity.
patch 1.51 out on PS4 now. Also patch 1.52 should be out on PS4 very soon too. Lots of bug fixes.
I have not tried any VR system yet. But I am interested. I'd want to try to make sure it doesn't make me sick before purchasing. However, I may wait for the next gen PSVR at this point unless I scored a current PSVR real inexpensively. The VR platform sure seems to have some great potential.
