That's a good point. Saying odds are less than 1% is incomplete info. Maybe it's 1 in a million. Even if you love FIFA for the gameplay, EA is abusing their customer base. Eventually, people get sick of the abuse.
I think PS5 will be announced in 2019 but available to consumers? I have my doubts about that.
That high a score littered with Microtransactions? No thank you. Perhaps teh gameplay is great but no way I can support that heavy-handed business model.
MS will release a streaming service in the next couple of years. And The Xbots will change their tune. Not saying I am a huge fan of streaming games, but I can say I have a great internet connection and PSNow works very well for me.
I own both and X1X and Ps4 Pro. Ordered RDR2 for the Pro. Additional content for the Pro. I'm sure it'll look great and play great on the X1X but for me the Pro was a better decision.
Per the article, "Argos argues that the Xbox One sales increase are mostly due to the release of the Xbox One X". So basically MS selling upgrades to their existing customer base is likely the majority of the X sales. Does that mean MS market share increases? Not really, if you're already an XB owner. To be fair the title of the article is sales growth, not market share. Just don't think that equates to some rise in popularity of XB.
I like GGS but it is so disappointing to see major figures at BGS behave the way they do wrt Sony and MS. BGS clearly has an ax to grind instead of just making a great game as a 3rd party studio. They can be so unprofessional at times. Makes me want to avoid their games.
Sure glad I installed that 2 TB hybrid drive. I also ordered the physical version.
Marketing is like politics. They will tell you anything to separate you from your hard earned money.
Less talk more action. We'll see in 5 years where MS has improved.
I love how some mods just mark your comment as inappropriate. Such modding is often selectively enforced.
So a site called "lifeisxbox.eu" gave it a perfect 100 out of 100. Go figure.
I have high hopes for this game.
I have not played either game which is part of Return to Arkham. Nor have I played Arkham Knight. I may pick them up.
It does seem odd that Spiderman is rated slightly lower. I guess reviews are not really judged against dissimilar games. But maybe reviewed against the genre in which they exist. So Spiderman as an open world single player game and Destiny as a looter shooter. I agree though, D2 Forsaken is a good expansion and Spiderman appears to be an excellent game too.
Don't forget about Horizon Zero Dawn. That looked good too.
One of the problems with MTs is that publishers/studios will build the game to incent you to purchase them by unnecessarily creating gratuitous grind mechanics so people buy the MTs. I am thinking of Shadow of War. Tons of grind gratuitous mechanics created to incent you to buy "time savers". I never have purchased an MT. If I can't grind it out I just don't buy the game. Seems like the industry is moving away from such "time savers" though as they are off-puttin...
And I never pay full price for PS+. I find it on sale and pick it up usually around $40.
Well both games are going to be very commercially and critically successful. Not having played RDR2 yet I will give strong props to Santa Monica Studio for taking a risk as they did by changing up the gameplay and story for GoW. RDR2 rather appears to be more evolutionary from the orig RDR. I'll own and will have played both. So which is better is just a subjective opinion.
