I hope so, I played some of the first one on my PS4 for the first time a few days ago, it was actually really fun (apart from the tank controls).
They always tend to do that kind of crap though, it's probably one of the few things that annoy me about Nintendo, I bought the game, but it was hardly limited. I also dislike them keeping stocks low and prices high for their games and consoles.
Yes, give it to me, I would love a remaster collection, I never finished 3 (the PSP version had horrible performance).
I love the Steamdeck, it's pretty great, also amazing that we can carry a handheld computer around that can play so many games.
I got the feeling this game may not be as good as we were hoping for, making this kind of game in this day and age is probably not a good idea.
People comparing YLOD to RROD? It's not even in the same ballpark, 360s had anywhere from a 33% to a crazy 60% failure rate, the PS3 was much lower.
@Cris2077,
I grabbed the entire thing while Forza Horizon 4 and it's DLC were cheap, it's actually pretty fun.
Just give me a good story, and more or less the same game play, I don't care if it's light-hearted and fun, or dark and serious, as long as it's a good game.
VR is expensive, and there isn't even any killer apps for it, I think the most popular games for any VR headset is probably VR Chat and Beat Saber. Those are actually the only games I can think of that I want to play, also, the PSVR 2 didn't take off either (it did worse than the original PSVR), VR really needs more games.
I honestly thought this was the point of the Switch Eshop, it looked like they were moving towards a unified Eshop, which I also thought was going to carry over to the Switch successor.
I'm not a fan of it, but I don't think I'd like any design with the touchpads, unless I use it and it turns out comfortable. I didn't expect the Steamdeck to be as comfortable as what it actually is.
This shouldn't even be a thing, it should be it's own category, I don't hate/dislike the game, they just mis-categorised it.
There's no way it's going to reach that level, there's too much bad publicity for it, plus the player numbers dropped off really fast after people bought the game.
30 is way too low over the entire history of Playstation, I just wouldn't be able to narrow it down that much, I would pick 100 at least.
I don't think we even have a handheld APU that anywhere near the level of the PS5, the latest ones are sitting in the ROG Allys and Lenovo Legion Go, and probably the Zotac Zone. I think we'll be waiting for more than a few years before we get to something on par with a PS5.
I can't see that happening, Steam just gets so much right with the Steamdeck that even other handheld PCs can't unseat it from being top dog, Steam also supports it heavily and constantly, so it's always getting better, and more games are getting verified, or eventually becoming playable.
Plus, the games library, even with the game that don't run (technically, even a lot of verified/partially verified games run fine on it), it massively dwarfs the PS5's...
I don't want to see a digital only future, I'm semi-comfortable with it because of PC/Steam though, still miss being able to get physical copies, but I guess being able to easily transfer/download games between PC and Steamdeck make up for it.
I'm thinking more of the battery life, even if you somehow jammed that much power into a handheld, you'd have half an hour of battery before you need a charge. That's something I definitely don't want to deal with, I know I can just take a battery bank with me, but it's not ideal, especially for short outings.
The games could run at lower specs, but that's extra work on the developers part that they may/may not want to undertake.
...
Well, it's certainly not going to be Sony, if anything, it would have to be Xbox, but that won't happen until Microsoft decides it's not worth throwing money at. But I do expect Xbox to eventually become a service and not a hardware manufacturer at some point.
For obvious reasons, Nintendo can survive on the strength of their IPs/exclusives.
