if it ever gets that "scan your own objects" feature they boasted at last years E3 that got everybody declaring MS the winner.

i say this, because i can imagine some stupid kid who's parents don't actually monitor what the frick they're doing scanning in some pointy, dangerous object, and hurting himself or a sibling while flailing about at the game like an idiot.

here in America, people are sue happy. and instead of taking personal resp...

that movie was awesome.

that is what the gaming community has become. *sigh*

i feel like an old man, but i remember actually discussing GAMES back in the day.

even last generation it was more about the games, and not the sales. there were a few known facts that people didn't argue about over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again:

1) Xbox WAS more powerful than PS2. it came out a full year later, and had the benefit of hav...

5 years of this console generation to realize that they need to OPTIMIZE for specific platforms? way to go.

i really wish Tetsuya Nomura was running the company. HE seems to be the only person at Square-Enix without his head up his ass.

in either case, i'm not picking up FFXIV because i just can't afford an MMO right now, or in the future. i really wanted the DCU Online MMO, but then i found out it's pay to play, so that's off the list.

it's in the shop for repairs. apparently you CAN'T alter historic events without causing a massive rip in the space time continuum. who knew?

thanks, by the way! i used to use that as my avatar here before i switched to the current Crono one (also drawn by yours truly).

i'm in the camp that thinks it's a fantastic FPS.

8 player, class based co-op.
60 player competitive matches (with modes that flow into one another on the fly, without having to constantly go out to the lobby).

the single player campaign was really good as well. epic scale. variety, and one of the most unexpected endings i've played in a long time (even the lead up to the ending cutscene, where you are doing some pretty incredible things)....

Deus Ex, but i just started replaying the original last weekend, and now i'm looking forward to this new one.

it's crazy how many mechanics/features the original Deus Ex had that are JUST NOW making their way into current shooter/rpgs.

games like Fallout 3, Borderlands, even Modern Warfare and the like owe a lot to Deus Ex. great game.

and eerily pertinent narrative wise. i always thought it was crazy that in the game, the Twin Towers...

i wasn't planning on using Linux, but this guy was the SOLE REASON why it was removed from the PS3, and now he's "retiring?"

what a selfish asshole.

there were people that actually DID use the Linux feature, and now they can't. and it's because of this toolbox.

if ever i wanted to kick someone in the nuts for being an all out douche, it's GeoHotz.

good riddance, fucker.

lol. the ...

for Ape Escape PS3, Heroes on the MOVE, and Sorcery.

other than those titles, i'm not really sold on MOVE.

of course, if you could play those three games WITHOUT the MOVE, i'd still snag the games.

Sucker Punch to let me play inFAMOUS 2 in it's current state.

the game most certainly isn't completely playable (a year from release, i guarantee there are so many game breaking bugs, and it's still not "feature complete" yet), but i NEED to play that game.

or maybe beg Fumito Ueda to let me play The Last Guardian.

there is nothing coming out in the remainder of this year that has me more pumped than inFAMOUS 2 and The L...

now a days seem to be under the impression that they MUST enjoy EVERY game released. EVER.

just because Red Dead Redemption is the latest big game from Rockstar doesn't mean you are required to find it AWESOME.

hell, the Gears of War and Halo franchises are certainly top notch games, but i don't find them particularly engaging. i don't feel sussed about it.

i can see how RDR couldn't grab people. it's set in the Western ge...

1) Free Online (Microsoft will NEVER do this. EVER).
2) Free DLC that's more than just something that could be unlocked with a cheat code (Keys to the City in Crackdown, for instance).
3) Large amounts of data stored on the disc (Fallout, Oblivion, RDR, AC2 all use gobs of repeating textures to make their worlds seem large. pop in Uncharted 2 or Ratchet: ACIT, and take note of not only how many locations are present, but how high quality the texture work is. you'd be h...

online, so i'll wait a few more weeks.

when it hits about $30 or less, i'll pick it up.

i'm not going to support the practice of companies like MS throwing out a rushed, under-developed sequel to a franchise that deserved SO MUCH MORE.

Crackdown 1 was incredibly fun. yes, collecting orbs is fun, but so is leveling up your weapons and getting new armor in the Ratchet series.

at least the Ratchet games added new loc...

ordered Alan Wake from Amazon for $32.99 yesterday, but i had to use my $20 credit to drop it down to that!

if i had known that K-Mart was going to sell it for $34.99 this weekend, i would have ordered from them, and used my $20 credit for something else entirely!

ah well.

since i LOVE turned based RPGS, i didn't realize i was Japanese!

i guess my 31 years living life as a black male from Los Angeles, California were a lie! i must not have spent this weekend re-playing Chrono Cross after all!

i LOVE broad generalizations!

here's another one!

Everyone at Square-Enix are morons!

this is fun!

i had an idea for a Ratchet comic that i was going to pitch to Insomniac and see if they would let me write and draw it as a web series, but this is even better.

i may still pitch the idea to them in the future.

they're still selling 10 million + consoles a year, and the software output has NOT slowed down from their first and second party developers.

all those games that were three years off at launch have come, with sequels on the way.

all those studios who have had their titles under wraps are showing them off, and people are turning their attention to Sony and the PlayStation while the competition drops the ball in the new software department (sequels are GRE...

looking forward to the sequel. i'm hoping localization won't take too long this time.

WKC was an interesting title, because it was simultaneously derivative and unique.

it was a cookie-cutter Japanese RPG in terms of characters and story, but i thought the game play; the battle system, the online, skill/combo system was pretty fresh and addictive.

what the game really needed was more variety in it's missions. just some extra or ra...
