i'm playing it, and it blows me away every time i come across a new area.

the lighting, Kratos' character model. i noticed Ready at Dawn even borrowed some of the cinematic elements of God of War 3 and used them in Ghost of Sparta. the story is surprisingly good as well, and we get to learn more about Kratos' past. people think Kratos is all anger and rage, but there's more to him than that, and this game, more than all the others, really showcases that.

back in December 08, i believe, but i sent it in for repair, got a 60gig back, and it's been kicking ever since.

i planned on buying a PS3 Slim for my wife, so we don't have to fight over the PS3, but money is too tight at the moment, so it'll have to wait, sadly.

if my PS3 broke a second time, i have to say, i'd probably get it fixed again. why? because it was a fully BC console, and i have a LOT of PS2 games that i still play to this day. my...

no matter what company (Activision, Konami, etc) there was always a handful of testers that just REEKED.

even when the HR rep would come in and give us a chat about hygiene, the next day someone would ALWAYS come in just smelling of funk and sweat. it gave me a headache everytime i'd walk in the room. Activision was probably the worst. you'd think those guys had slept in a sewer. Konami, Square-Enix, and Obsidian not so much.

it absolutely boggles my...

and as much as i hate the elitist snobs at Neogaf, i think they got it right when they put VG Charts on the "banned sites" list.

it's clear that their guesstimating is too far off to be useful to those folks that DO like to discuss sales. there's simply no point in ever using their numbers for anything.

anyway, i own a PS3. i own a 360. sales mean nothing to me in the long and short run. i just want awesome games to play for both.

expansion, or a true follow-up. after having played it for a few hours, i can say that it's it's own product. i enjoy what Obsidian did to some of the game play systems that make it feel very different and improved from Fallout 3. it feels more like an RPG than Fallout 3 did. i enjoy how leveling up is spaced out, and the perks that are a lot harder to choose between when you finally reach that level up. i feel more in control of my character's development than i did in Fallout 3....

so i definitely snagged it off of PSN. $5.99 for such an awesome game is a steal.

God of Hair.

i'd buy it.

cut 8 player co-op.

i was ADDICTED to 8 player co-op in Resistance 2. i don't play online gaming much, but that mode had me playing every damn day.

i'm glad that campaign co-op is back (me and my wife used to have a ball playing Resistance 1 campaign co-op), but did it HAVE to be at the cost of 8 player co-op? couldn't they have just, i don't know, tweaked it a bit? scaled it back some (maybe a few less maps, but more varied objectives per map...

i enjoy it more than Fallout 3.

HOWEVER, there is simply no excuse for the game-breaking, progress costing bugs.

if Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas actually performed as expected, it'd deserve 9+/10 scores.

however, if i were to score the games, they'd fall in the 7.5/8 category. it's not acceptable that main story quests fall prey to progress halting bugs. i can understand a buggy side quest, but there are core story missions in...

The reason why no PoP on Xbox 360 is simple:

The original Xbox DVDs were dual layer 9gig discs.

The Xbox 360 DVDs are dual layer 6.8gigs.

Games like the Prince of Persia, Sands of Time, more than likely came close to pushing 9 gigs of data, in particular Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones.

if Ubisoft wanted to release an HD collection of PoP, it would more than likely exceed the 6.8gigs of space, because of the HD resolution...

it's really hard to avoid it, but thankfully, i've been playing Fallout: New Vegas and God of War: Ghost of Sparta. those have successfully distracted me from popping in Red Dead.

i'm so looking forward to this weekend. we have more movies to watch, but those are the essentials.

oh, and Friday the 13th is great. can't go wrong with tits and serial killers. lol. as a child of the 80's i grew up on Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th...

the game without a save issue.

the only glitch i came across was a graphical glitch, where a texture on Gabriel's belt would fly out towards nowhere like a compass. this happened in the demo, and in the final game. my best friend didn't have the glitch happen at all, and even i wouldn't get it 100% of the time.

anyway, great game. glad there's a patch out for the two people that got corrupt saves. more than likely for not waiting for the auto-...

i meant to click agree and hit disagree.

as for the "pissing off PC fans sentiment of some people," 98% of PC games have been released on consoles this generation, from The Sims, to Civilation, to Half Life 2 and Portal. if the PC community can get over that, they can get over Diablo 3.

also, the PS3 supports mouse and keyboard, and yet developers REFUSE to allow m&k support for games that could use it. Unreal Tournament 3 on the PS3 supported i...

the story in Reach has been bad. I think some of the "dramatic" moments fell flat (I won't get specific as to not spoil it), but there are games with infinitely worse stories, and I actually found this one a bit more interesting than the later Halo game's stories (I never played ODST, so that's the one exception).

The game is fun. It's Halo. I mean, what more can you say? I'm enjoying it so far, and hope to have my review of it up on my site once...

me and my wife are planning a Halloween weekend where we watch scary movies and play scary video games all weekend.

we'll be watching everything from Shaun of the Dead, to Nightmare on Elm Street to Friday the 13th, etc, and playing games from Fatal Frame, to Silent Hill, to Resident Evil. we'll kick things off Friday night with Undead Nightmare. it's already installed and waiting to be played, but the wait is killing us. lol.

has no games is one of the most ridiculous things to stem from this entire generation, or that the PSP is some kind of failure. over 50 million units sold is NOT a failure by a long shot.

considering most competitors to the Nintendo handhelds have barely managed to sell 1 million (the Sega Game Gear is the only handheld to sell over 3 million units; it sold 8 million in it's short life), the PSPs sales are phenomenal.

the game library is fantastic as well...

Xbox titles.

1) Most of the Xbox's big titles were third party IPs: Ninja Gaiden, Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Dead or Alive, etc are all owned by other companies. It would be up to the company that owns the IP whether or not to introduce an HD version to the market.

2) DVD space: Many Xbox games not only were on DVDs, but dual layer, 9 GIG DVDs. the Xbox 360 DVD is limited to 6.8 gigs DUAL LAYER.

an HD version of, say, Star ...

THIS is how you handle the move from single platform, to multi-platform development.

you don't shit where you sleep.

Insomniac knows and appreciates that most of it's fanbase are PlayStation fans. however, they aren't going to trash talk the Resistance and Ratchet franchises, and complain about sales, just to appease some rabid 360 fanboys.

i hope the 360 community will get a kick out of Insomniac's multi-platform project when...

Ninja Theory will conduct themselves better in the PR department instead of alienating the majority of their fanbase by passing the blame onto their previous game, and the hardware it was released on.

it's funny, Heavenly Sword sold 1 million units on the PS3. that's 1 million fans that were eager to play Ninja Theory's next game, regardless of the platform it was released on (although they were certainly hoping for another PS3 exclusive).

so what...
