It’s not the computer they’re downvoting. It’s definitely you. There are villans in 80s movies that sounds less douchy than you.
It is strange to think about all of the things publishers choose to hype early. Why did we get trailers for Skull and Bones and Beyond Good and Evil 2 so early? Why did Microsoft show Perfect Dark last year but not this year? Why did Square decide to skip FFXVI and Remake but instead prioritize a game that looks like it was thrown together two weeks ago?
This was always going to be a problem. Microsoft is actively working against itself by pushing both game pass and the series x/s. Why would I bother buying the fancy new Xbox if I can expect to get access to all of Microsoft's titles for free with any new PC or TV purchase I make? While the service is very nice, the flip side of this is that all of these titles need to scale down to work on all of these devices.
Sony has already produced titles specific to its new hard...
Yeah. Cause you’re not also a fanboy.
Well, I guess there’s always next e3.
Finally, a game from a real rpg maker and not just the latest looter shooter chaser.
I don’t really see the need for this franchise at all now. When the idea was still kinda new it worked but I feel like they are just beating a dead horse. I guess as long as it makes them money though.
Sony is actually successful though.
@Banthis Yeah people play their games, but I can't imagine anyone gets excited about the twentieth reskin of the same old Madden and FIFA. It's nothing but a roster update. Oh and Star Wars cause we all love Star Wars. Not getting sick of that at all.
Man, if you get excited about EA’s show you are in this way too deep. Go on a vacation. Read a novel.
Same way you fix Madden and FIFA. Use fakes. If the devs can create alternatives that have the same depth of mechanics that real vehicles have, people would eat that stuff up.
Hell, maybe they could do a classic racing sim with models that are too old for a manufacturer
To care about.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Wow. Look at this guy. He really opened my eyes. I guess I'll go buy an XBOX now so that I won't be able to play any of these awesome games. He's already saving me money. Why buy new games when I can just play the Master Chief collection over and over again for the next twenty years? I think I finally understand all the Game Pass hype now.
I don't really think these two issues are related. The executives may deserve some hardship, but its the low level devs that work 100 hour work weeks that stand to lose the most from this. Honestly, I don't think we should go the extreme of wishing ill will on a developer for screwing up one launch. Everyone has done that at some point. Let's save that kind of negativity for EA.
I get the impression that most of the people around here bought a PS4 pro. Up until I finally landed a PS5, I was rocking a base ps4. While it did manage to handle titles like Control, Last of Us 2, and Final Fantasy VII the framerate was a mess and the load times were really terrible. What's coming out now is even more graphically demanding.
I personally feel like games took a generational leap about two years ago.
The moves that Phil makes are usually appealing and make for good publicity. Unfortunately, these moves don’t seem to translate to good games. Bethesda was already looking pretty bad before the acquisition and It is smart to be skeptical until they actually deliver.
I would love to be wrong but I have a decade of lackluster support from Xbox to look back at. At best, you guys won’t get anything until 2022 and even after that stuff will have to be scaled down to work on the S. ...
Not a thing. Same as your question.
Last of Us was pretty much a cross Gen title. It was technically remastered but that opening set the standard for PS4.
Releasing on PC years after the fact doesn't seem like a bad idea. I don't really view a PC as a console alternative in the traditional sense. Wouldn't it be nice to have the modding community continue to support the classic titles out there after the audience has shrunk down to just the hardcore fans?
Mario Odyssey 2 would be dope.
