CFO Blake Jorgensen doesn't get enough credit for his sarcastic sense of humor. Has anyone else noticed that whenever this guy opens his mouth he pisses everyone off. Why does the CFO need to make public statements any way? He should be focusing his efforts on ruining the lives of his employees.
These Blue Box guys are playing with fire. At this point if they aren't doing some big secret project with/for Kojima, everyone is going to hate them. I would like to say it isn't their fault, but they clearly know what they're doing here.
@JackBNimble You should also consider that all of these titles are going to probably end up selling for far cheaper as PS Hits or we will see them packaged with PS Plus. Players love PlayStation exclusives, but the smart ones know they can wait for cheaper deals down the line. I bought a PS5 and have been careful with my purchases this year primarily because I just dropped 500 dollars on a new system.

Exactly. Morrowind and Oblivion had deeper mechanics. Skyrim was great, but I don't think it revolutionized the genre, at least not for the better.
I get what you mean, but I don't think these guys are all that biased. They just did a awesome series on the PS1 launch titles that I doubt they would have done if they were in Microsoft's pocket. I think these guys are curious when PS5 outperforms Series X because on paper the Series X should perform ever so slightly better (at least in terms of framerate) due to the higher tflop GPU. As goofy as it was, the 2018 Sony press conference was the best ever. I know its an unpopular take but think about it. Everyone hates the lack of game play in E3 trailers. That conference had massive gameplay trailers for Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Last of Us 2, Control, and Resident Evil 2 Remake.

I have no problem with them skipping E3. I just wish they would set a standard date for their big conference. It would give us all something to look forward to, instead of just debating whether or not they are going to hold an event at all.

I suspect that the people who are dishing out money for a portable steam player are also the people who already own the other three consoles along with a high end PC.
The original sequence was also out of character for Cloud and very cringe though. The new Wall Market changes managed to recreate the tone of the original quite well. Now, that tone goes straight out the window in the plate fall chapter and in the ending.
I am specifically referring to the over the top Kingdom Hearts style boss fight at the end, but I wouldn't say I am thrilled about the Zack thing either. I can live with these changes though. I personally think that it was Hamaguchi was the main driving force behind Remake's success. If I am not mistaken he was responsible for the overhaul to the game's combat.
VII Remake is pretty good... despite Nomura's meddling. Let's hope some of these mysterious Square employees continue to prop this hack up for X-2's development
I believe 343 industries is working on one of these "sequels" that all the rubbish competition is carrying on about. I guess it doesn't count if your software company is so devoid of basic math skills that it thinks the sequel to Windows 8 is Windows 10.
