It was pretty interesting for its time. A lot of people fall in love with the jank of these games s they find the weird writing choices and strange glitches to be part of the appeal. I just think we need to move on at some point. No one is going to bother making Elder Scrolls 6 if Elder Scrolls 5 keeps selling. Look at GTA 5.
Some people are just bored with the same franchises and would like to see something fresh. Halo and Call of Duty were the hit holiday releases when I graduated high school. Let's get some knew IP to get excited about.

Bloodborne will age better than Skyrim and it is a Sony exclusive. Dark Souls came out the same year as Skyrim. It was better then and it is way better now.

Exactly. Sony has really had some impressive shows the last few years that put more emphasis on gameplay than most. I would like to see that return next year.
Man, jambola really seems passionate about the dialogue in Forspoken. He’s responded to damn near every post. Calm down, man. They made a trailer with a handful of lines to show the audience it was an isekai. The game’s regular dialogue will probably sound a little less forced.
Oh thank god. For a second, I was worried epic wouldn't be able to nickel and dime people well enough to make trillions of dollars off of digital garbage. Fight the power.
Regardless of what people think of it, it is better than the dialogue from the god awful demo.
While I think it was fine under the circumstances (Capcom had an e3 showcase without any new games this year), the show was not up to Sony’s usual standard. Let Microsoft and Nintendo tease us with cgi trailers that are years too early. Sony’s last few conferences have emphasized game play much more and we’re better for it I think.
So they canned the single player RPG they were working on and are rushing this multiplayer trash out the door. Ugh. Oh well, time to start another Bloodlines play through.
Planescape: Torment, Fallout 1&2, Fallout: NV, Baldur's gate 1&2, Divinity Original Sin 1&2, Disco Elysium, Morrowind KOTOR is great, but it's honestly not even the best KOTOR game. Obsidian killed it with KOTOR2.
Agreed. Microsoft has been pushing in that direction for a while now. Sony has to offer some competition against Obsidian and InXile. I'm told Bethesda is making something that resembles an RPG as well. Hopefully, Sony has something in the works. If not, I may have to upgrade my video card so I can buy Microsoft games, God forbid.
Yeah. They leaned a bit too heavily in that direction. I realize they need to promote the Guardians game, but I can't imagine anyone wants to play it after Avengers flopped so bad. Wolverine and Spiderman 2 are also too far away to get too excited about either.
