We can argue and deny all we want but the Wii U has to be considered next gen. After the PS4 and 720 are released you can jokingly refer to it as last gen, that's fine. But if people honestly push for it to be called last gen well into the next generation, it will make talking about that generation very awkward:
"This generation (and Nintendo's console from last generation that's not the original Wii) were the first consoles that connected people together through soci...
I liked his David Wong quote:
"When I tell somebody to avoid the “bad part of town” I’m not saying everyone who lives in those neighborhoods is a criminal. I’m saying that there are enough of them that there’s a really good chance you’ll have a bad experience”.
Tearaway is going to be amazing.
Is the video of the Vita out of sync? When he's using the touch interface it looks very slow... is it like that in real life or is it just this video?
I always forget just how many IPs Nintendo has. I hope they all get new games this generation. Also, I hope the author is right about a new 3DS Zelda coming in 2013.
Sounds pretty cool to me.
The article is saying you could plug your tablet into your TV and use a wireless controller.
I don't know about that though. The guy in the article say tablets keep getting faster every year. Well yeah, but it's not like I'm going to be buying a new console every year. I like that I can buy a console once and use it for five years. Instead of paying to upgrade, devs just get more experience and develop better looking games. A lot of games don't even support t...
Somebody disagrees with you, I see. Shoot, I guess I shouldn't have bought those 30+ DS games then...
I've seen this game used at a couple stores. I liked Hotel Dusk a lot. Maybe I'll pick it up.
Still no mention of a release outside of Japan? This is why region locking games is terrible.
If it's popular enough for a sequel hopefully it's popular enough to release overseas.
Ah, sorry, I didn't actually play Farcry3 :-/. I was just going by the article. Maybe I'll give it a shot now though :)
Whose girlfriend was kidnapped in River City Ransom?
A) Slick's
B) Jimmy's
C) Alex's
D) Ryan's
Oh thank God, it's just the Sun.
Even so, it's almost 2013. I'm an adult. My gamer friends are adults. We can't be tricked into believing this kind of BS. Tell me that Bieber is the source of all gun violence. I'll get behind that.
Hahahaha oh man, that's hilarious.

The programmer of arguably the worst game of all time. How could WarZ possibly fail?? /s
Geez, this sounds like the guy who did Braid. If you write a good story then people will like it. If you write a bad story or one that tries to be too smart for its own good, people won't like it.
So true. Could they not have just called it the Wii 2? It would have solved all their problems. But noooooo, they had to try to be witty.
What? Is this referring to the article?
I think the article is just saying we can have the best of both worlds. We don't need to choose. I'm all for both. The problem is you tend to end up with a high price. You need to find a balance between innovation, power, and price. A PS4 with a Vita for every controller would be amazing, but expensive.
It sounds like it's been resolved. That was quick. Good job MS.
I'm not sure what you mean. Ocarina, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword all had an older Link at about the same age. Why did you like TP's Link and not OoT and SS's? I preferred playing as older Link to kid Link in Ocarina, but I don't see how a 16 year old Link would be different from a 20 year old, except he could buy cigarettes and be tried as an adult for killing chickens and ransacking people's houses.
Awesome. I love these positive articles.
